RV resort was run down. The driveways were in a state of disrepair with many potholes. This place is primarily inhabited by long-term RVers. No one was available for check in at 2:30 in the afternoon. We called the phone number on the window and nobody answered for quite some time so we explored on our own. Eventually we got a call back. We then went to the upper section of the RV park which is across the highway and up the hill. The driveway was very steep. This is not a "resort" by any means. It's a live-in trailer park needing a lot of work and better customer service.

I wanted to share our experience at this wonderful place because we saw the reviews before we came and to be honest they were scary 😱. We found this was a wonderful way to see the Oregon coast and the towns to the north and south and the towns people are incredible friendly. The RV park is pretty quiet and the spot we were in was a nice size. You can tell they are working hard to fix this place up, the roads in are a bit bumpy but if you take it slow it’s doable. There is an upper and lower part of the park I think both are nice. They have a Community Center that has a beautiful view of the water and the bathroom/showers are very clean. I saw some horrible pictures of them in a review but that was not our experience. If you have a boat there’s a doc and ramp… We met some wonderful people here that were having a crab boil with the crab they caught that day and they gave us some, it was fantastic!!!! Sometimes we need to take chances on these smaller resorts they have some wonderful charm. The work they are doing here will make this place amazing keep going we will be back!!!😊
PS… You must stop at the smokehouse for their salmon in Wheeler just a mile and a half down the road!!😋

I would give this place zero stars if I could. First of all the pictures & information are complete false advertising & calling it a resort is laughable. This place is deteriorating more & more every time I have been. The road up and down seems unsafe & at best hard on your vehicle/rv, the docks are falling apart, & they let people live there full time, & many are not welcoming at all.
I feel bad for the members who paid a lot of money years ago to buy in to something that is the exact opposite of what they signed up for & can't believe anybody still pays quarterly dues to belong to this place.

This place was probably really nice.... in the 80's. Wow was it run down. Pool & hot tub? ... shut down. Rec facility... an old shop that was filthy with old equipment and inadequate lighting. I didn't even know if the road down to the beach was safe to drive down at first glance.

We visited friends here who had parked their large RV in this park. Honestly, I don't know how anyone could back into one of the very narrow lots in this park. After it was parked, we all remarked that there was very little space in between RVs. Other than that, it was a clean park with nice views of the water and Wheeler across the bay. Car/visitor parking was available and easy.

Well if you want to spend the night it's not even worth it. "Paradise" is far from what this was. Got a tent site and they are old RV sites with power and water hook ups but putting a tent stake into ground is damn near impossible. But none the less pictures on web site have this great looking pool to enjoy. It's the first thing you see. Pool was closed as well as the hot tub and had been for years. Very deceiving website. Don't waste your money. Also the weight room / laundry room area smells like fuel or something and there is no way that is good for anyone. Wow. Disappointed.

To start with the other reviews I had read about it was scary. But I figured that some people just can't be pleased. So I figured I would have to see for myself. Yes they are fixing it back up to what it was like before COVID. The owner only has 3 employees and they are working every day on fixing something or cleaning up stuff around the campground. The owner herself would be working into the evening cleaning up around the clubhouse or in the campground. But she has a hard time trying to get employees making it hard to get everything done. But I would have to say that the 50 amp sites are very spacious and quiet and would recommend these sites if you were to visit it. We had great phone service though T-Mobile. They didn't have WiFi at the sites but for me I didn't care. You are within 30 minutes of the Washington state border and the other beaches like Cannon Beach, seaside and just some beautiful scenery. The 30 amp sites are down by the Marina and they are not as spacious.

Well, if false advertising was a felony these people would be serving a life sentence. We are not a high maintenance family, in fact this is my first negative review ever.

We stayed at the water front (power/water/sewer) and paid KOA equivalent pricing. We were disgusted by what we encountered here. We have been RVing with small units for many years and have never seen anything like this. The sites on the website must have been 1/2 to 1/3 decreased because we could barely get our little unit between our neighbours. Picture a Costco parking lot stall size. Absolutely no trees and more of a gravel pit. The place was filthy and our dogs couldn’t get out the door without entangling on the next sewer outlet (4 feet from our door).

If you do stay here please be prepared for electricity problems on some poles (it was over 100 degrees when we were here on July 5 and A/C was necessary). Also, it is primarily a permanent residence for many people and the reception isn’t exactly friendly.

I can’t speak for the bathrooms, showers, or pool area (although we were told by members that it was closed) since we used our unit to ensure a clean environment.

Please, friend or stranger, do not book here.
