My family and I (two adults and two Teenager) stayed there one night on our road trip.
From the outside it looks a little poor, but from the inside it’s quite modern and pretty.
The teenager slept well, during the adults had challenges, because on one side is a freeway and on the other one a railway, due to that it was loud all he time.
So when you have a deep sleep it’s totally fine, comfy beds, nice room and breakfast.

I checked in around midnight, $85 for my daughter and I, and $40 for a pet fee. My dog is only 5 lbs and is trained. Honestly we were only in the room to nap and shower. A total of 6 hrs, I was more ticked about the pet fee. Next time I think it'll be better to stay in a place where they have more hotels to choose from. I could have not been honest but I guess that's what one gets from a "Bates" looking hotel.

The person in charge is very unpleasant when it comes to customer service. I came with a reservation on Booking.com because the room was cheaper on the Internet and the first thing she did when I told her what I was doing was kick me out of the place... zero recommendation, avoid mistreatment, do not use this place.

Extremely poorly managed. Do not expect any true customer service management to be so lazy towards special requests. You will not get any amenities like extra pillows or blankets and don't bother looking for ice as the machine has been out of order for months. The office has ice available and my labeling them lazy was when I requested ice and handed them the bucket the ice nor my bucket ever found its way to my room. Must have truly been an inconvenience for them.

While back to Penasco, we decided stop in Gila Bend for night. The Sun was in the wrong part of the for easy driving.

We was passing through on our way back to NC and we turned in to see if they had WIFI so I could get my maps to load, and we decided we were going to just stay the night and it was the best decision we made, it’s clean, cozy it doesn’t feel like a hotel at all, it’s got a full fridge, and it feels like a little home. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and considerate. They have everything you need to be comfortable and feel relaxed, I like it here way better than I did at one of the larger hotel chains we were staying in while in San Diego!! If I ever come back I will definitely stay here!!!

Slept GREAT! Mattress was very comfortable, pillows were perfect. Super clean tile throughout (every hotel / motel should do this). They thought of everything; there was even a tall rotating fan in the closet if needed. Great access from the highway. Being able to park in front of our door made unpacking in the rain so much easier. The front desk clerk was very friendly. Made us feel like he was welcoming us home. We'll definitely stay again.
