My mother in law has a unit here and we have been visiting for about a week. It is nice. The area is a little noisy but the neighborhood itself is quiet and nice.

Prices seem reasonable. Community is active. Pool and hot tub are clean and maintained.

I live here I love my neighbors I love the activities that go on. Unfortunately there is a lot of politics I guess that happens every where you live which I'm not involved in. Brand new $80,000 homes are being put in our community, I wonder what the new owners will think of some of our 50 year old homes here. as long as they have a live-and-let-live attitude all will be well.

I moved to Palm Shadows in March 2018 and I am happy with my decision of choosing to live here for my retirement. It is located in a convenient area in Glendale, AZ for shopping, eating in restaurants, etc. Life here is very comfortable and relaxed for me at the age of 65 now in 2022.

Just reading through the comments, I couldn't but put in my 2 cents worth. Although I've never seen black widow spyders, we've been visited by dozens of scorpions outside(only 3 inside) I called the office and the bug guy was out the next day.
The management has changed over the last few months and residents seem to more optimistic about the place now. Alot of people have left, that's true. I wish the amenities were better(longer pool hours).

We have been living in Palm Shadows Mobile Home Park for about two years and absolutely love this community. The park is clean and has many amenities such as a well-maintained pool, fitness center, and clubhouse where residents gather to play games and for special events.

Nestled in the heart of Glendale, Arizona , Palm Shadows MHP is conveniently located near major shopping centers and bus lines. With no overhead powerlines, the views in every direction are always spectacular. We highly recommend living in this exceptional community!

I'm resided at Palm Shadows for a year. Signed another rental contract even though the staff does very little maintenance. It's a good thing I can do some of the repairs otherwise I'd been moved out. I've spent many hours and monies making the place feel like home. I enjoy all the neighbors especially Willy & Gunner. It's a overall a pleasant place to live. The negatives about living in L160 it has a reek odor of sewer, the heat & air registers are bent and it hurts when you cut your foot on it. Makes a grown woman cry ouch. The doors & windows need repaired, the floor creeks and when I moved in it wasn't painted nor the carpet wasn't replaced which both need done. The manufactured home is 28 years old and is not insulated. Paper thin walls. I lost balance when I was moving in while on a step stool I fell right inside the wall. Management raised my rent but refuses to keep the property maintained. I was told it's my job to do at my own expense and I feel it's not fair. Palm Shadows is a great retirement place because they play bingo, have water aerobics, cards, many different gatherings all week long. I enjoy meeting the snowbirds. They come from all over the states. They hold two annual yard sales each year which is a great time to meet all your neighbors. Cannot forget the bugs... Black widows,& scorpions are the worse.

I'm still in the same lot # and not much as changed. My neighbors come & go. Great cirlce of neighbors around me. PS manager has been promoted and is leaving our community. I stopped to let her know I wish her the best in her new position. She smiled with me. I honestly meant the words I said. Paula and I had our different opinions and that is what makes our community grow. I thank God there is only one of me because at times it's difficult to be myself and it's all good. I decided after I signed my 10th rental contract I wanted to live the rest of my life "Happy" and do my best to overcome depression and set back. I decided I will enjoy living here at Palm Shadows because I'm fortunate to have a whole hell of a bunch o great neighbors who became my friends. Life is challeging so with your left foot in front of the right foot keep learning all the lessons God places on yor plate/platter.. God is Love. We are God's loving children. Reach out your hand and offer a neighbor or few a helping hand. Gifts are given and received. I'm learning aboout cosmetic porjects are on my clock and I do take my time. I'l update later in time.
