This was a perfect stopover for us on a road trip down the coast. It's an old school roadside inn which charming upgrades. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable with some fun retro decor touches. Very convenient to pull the car right up to our door. If you're looking for something simpler than a beachfront view, don't overlook this spot - it's great value and you won't compromise on comfort. We also loved the Star Wars reference in the lobby painting!!

I'm a Texan, and when I came to visit my then boyfriend in Oregon, he booked this place for me for a week. I believe it's family-run, and I found the service to be incredibly friendly. The place was clean and had a charming old-town motel feel, with antique furniture that gave it a simple yet nostalgic 1950s vibe. I absolutely loved it and will definitely visit again!

I've stayed at several motels in Brookings over the last few years and staying here was the best experience. The owner is kind and his thoughtful touches can be seen throughout the property. The motel stays true to its vintage character while being clean and having updated tvs that allow streaming (I thought this was really 😎.)

I felt safe and comfortable. I will definitely stay during my next visit.

What a little gem. Nothing fancy but very awesome little spot. The hotel is family run and they do everything they can to make you comfortable. It’s a true 4 star with absolutely nothing wrong with. Location is perfect, rooms are clean and safe. I had a wonderful sleep. Over all great experience. If through here again this will be my stop.

Clean, no-frills hotel with basic amenities, but in a perfect location. It's older and family owned and run (very important to us)-- the owners live on site and are very responsive and keep the prices low while they are working on slowly renovating their little American dream-- room by room. We asked for more towels and got them quickly. We locked ourselves out of our room (twice) and they let us back and then chatted with us-- so friendly! I liked that we could bike/walk to several beaches (Harris Beach is a mile up the road) and downtown with all the great independent little shops, a vintage theater, and some great cafes. We felt like we were supporting real, kind, hard-working people and not another dumb hotel chain. We will return!

I loved my stay here! The retro style fridge was adorable! The location is great, the man checking me in was friendly and the room was nice & clean! I’d definitely stay here again!
