Me and my husband stayed here for our mini vacation/honeymoon 11/15 - 11/17 2024 Bart is a beautiful person and wonderful host this beautiful bed and breakfast was amazing close to everything there is dinning out, sight seeing, shopping, filling station's. Breakfast was amazing and very huge I would recommend this place a thousand times over I can't wait to go back we got the beach front room had a Jacuzzi tub with whirlpool and lights as well as a over head shower a beautiful view of the lake and fireplace we looked at the other rooms as the rest have walk-in showers and beautiful views as well I highly recommend this place thank you Bart Mike and myself Kim had a wonderful time

We recently travelled to Catawba with friends and stayed at Our Sunset Place. It was our second visit, but the first for our companions. This time we stayed in the Vinyard Room which was very clean and comfortable. It is worth noting the multi-head shower was nothing short of amazing. They truly pay attention to detail and make sure their guests needs are taken care of during their stay. They varied their breakfast choices which were both delicious and substantial. Each morning, we enjoyed coffee on the deck and the evening ended with a drink watching a beautiful sunset over Lake Erie. ||We highly recommend Our Sunset House, and we will return next year!

Definitely a must if you’re in the area. Bart is so kind and meeting strangers around the breakfast table was so much fun!! Great food as well. If you want a bathtub/jacuzzi in your room, book the beachfront one!|Awesome and peaceful views of the lake as well!

Beautiful B&B. The rooms were immaculate and the beds are extremely comfortable. Sandy and Bart are very gracious hosts. The gourmet breakfasts were wonderful and as a gift for staying 2 nights, we were given our choice of a bottle of red or white wine. This was our 4th time as guests and this time we even brought our friends who also loved it. I might add, the sunsets are amazing! Wonderful experience. looking forward to our next stay .

This was our first visit to the area and first time staying in a bed & breakfast. If you think the reviews are too good to be true, rest assured they are accurate. Our Sunset Place exceeded all our expectations. The décor and accommodations in the rooms are wonderful! The beds, showers and jacuzzi tub are luxurious, and the breakfasts are top-chef quality! Each room has a front-row view of the lake, and the upper deck and downstairs patio are perfect for watching the most magnificent sunsets you’ll ever see. From my phone call to check availability to our departure, Bart and Sandy were the consummate hosts and truly made us feel right at home. The only thing we would change is a longer stay. We look forward to our next visit to Our Sunset Place and highly recommend it to any couple looking for a quiet getaway.

We stayed three nights at Our Sunset Place B&B on Lake Erie. And it is literally on the lake. The owners, Bart and Sandy, surprised us with a nice bottle of wine upon our arrival. ||There is a large cushion in the backyard that is perfect for watching the sunset. We found the beds very comfortable, there are tables and lamps beside the bed, and there are more than adequate plug-ins for all your devices.||The breakfasts are really something – starting with a fruit parfait, followed by a huge, delicious muffin. Bart then treated us to different main course creation each day from his well equipped kitchen, such as an avocado BLT, a frittata, and a ham cup with two eggs in the center. You won't leave hungry or need lunch!||Bart is a gracious host, and is always available to meet your needs. ||We have been staying in B&B's for many years, and we regard Our Sunset Place as one of the best – if not THE most enjoyable B&B we've every visited. There are only four rooms, and the Erwins get a lot of repeat customers, so book early!

This was an amazing experience! Bart is so kind and he’s been able to maintain a very welcoming and peaceful atmosphere for everyone. Views and food are great and you will never leave hungry! Best place to stay in the area!

We were looking for a quick mid-week getaway and were able to get into Our Sunset Place. We worked primarily with Bart, who was a delight! This is a centrally located charming little place literally on the lake. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The grounds and our room were comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent! Highly recommend this location as a place to stay. It was perfect!
