I will dream of the cajeta flapjacks forever 🥹
I’ve been here multiple times and it’s always good!
They are always busy and the parking lot is usually full as well so I recommend carpooling and planning ahead!
It’s not only a restaurant but also a cafe- a true half and half with a coffee/drink bar area and seating areas.
I will definitely be back, and continue recommending this restaurant! My only suggestion is to open another location please! Please spread the love 😉 💕

Came here at the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed! The Mexican breakfast has some of the best chorizo and beans I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is great and the staff is excellent. Their tortillas are top shelf and their “famous pancake“ is famous for a reason. Five stars all the way around.

First time there for brunch. Stopped in to see what it was all about. Was looking for a waffle and ended up with flap Jack's. (Because waffles aren't served) Which we're amazing, by the way. We also started off with the chips and guacamole, which is made to order. Super delicious. The rest of the food on the menu sounded delicious, as well. A very modern twist on some Mexican classics. I can't wait to go back and try the chilaquiles, which, according to the Phoenix New Tmes, garnered their BEST OF PHOENIX rating.

Never have I ever had more delicious pancakes!!!!!!! The Cajeta pancakes are absolutely delicious. You won’t need the butter or the syrup, trust me! Even traveling 15 min home as a to go order, they held up perfectly. Now I want to try them fresh!
And the fresh squeezed orange juice tastes like someone squeezed them at your table.

The atmosphere is vibrant, energetic and busy. Even on a weekday afternoon, the only parking available was in the back of the lot. Highly recommend!

My morning didn't start off the greatest and the manager Lorenzo and my server Jess turned it all around! This place is heaven on earth and I cannot wait to go back to explore the menu. I highly recommend the pork belly hamburger, side salad AND papa fritas and their chicken tacos. The food was incredible. That pork belly had the perfect char yet melted with each bite. Fellas if you take a date here and she can not eat like the movie white chick's "you sure put that away little lady" she's not the one lol
The night vibe and lighting and the staff is just perfect 👌🏾

Always delicious food at this place! They get busy so there may be a wait, but well worth it. El Madrid was fantastic. The breakfast burrito is one of my favorites. Big flap jacks for the kids. The green salsa is so tasty! Wish I could bring a bottle home. I do not come here often enough...that needs to change.
