The Cheese Balls....you don't know decadence until you bite into these delicious fried balls...
The catfish filets are tender and juicy. The popcorn shrimp are tender. The jumbo shrimp are tender and juicy and really large. This is one of the best restaurants on the east side of Lake Martin!

Great food made w/fresh ingredients! One of our favorite spots to eat @ Lake Martin. Took home chocolate fritters for dessert--these were like a chocolate hush puppy w/choc pudding inside and my boys loved them. Awesome homemade dressings/sauces here, too!

Great local location. Menu is great, service was friendly and fast, parking very easy, and laid back. Much of menu is fried which is good to know.
I ordered wings, chicken livers, baked potato and baked beans. All was very good!

Food is always good. Best hamburger steak I’ve had in a while. Philly is great. Fried pickles, fried okra and cheese balls are great. Really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Parking is easy. Can grab a drink while waiting if there is one. Just an all around great place for the whole family.

First time I've been back since new ownership. Took forever for food to arrive. Portions are much smaller. Price high as a giraffe's butt. Been eating here since they opened. Won't be back unless I hear they've gone back to how Oskar ran it.

Our family loves Oskars!
I had stopped eating here for a long time but after it changed hands, the new owners really went above and beyond in every way! They are so friendly, they always talk to customers, the food is consistently fantastic, and the service is great! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Stopped here on my home from Cheaha State Park. Had my daughter and granddaughter with me.
The menu had plenty of choices. We each got something different.
Food was good and service was fast and friendly. If I come this way in the future, I will be stopping here again.
