We stop only because it's convenient. It is humorous that it is supposed to have cable, but the same guy says the same thing every time we're there..."There's something wrong with the cable right now." Yeah, right. Nice enough and kept up.

We experienced a breakdown in our motor coach, this fine lady made arrangements for us to leave our coach and return with necessary parts to get home. This lady is the greatest. Thank you sweet heart.

I booked this location because it was a little past the halfway point of our trip. The day before leaving I called to verify that we had our reservation and paid for the site. The lady who answered was very nice and took care of payment, told me what site I was in and how to get there. All set. A few minutes late she called back and said they had a cancel and moved us to a spot that you basically drove right into. Great and very appreciative. Long drive and horrible traffic going through Dallas. By the time we got to Ole Town Cotton Gin I was ready to set up and relax. However, when I got to my spot, there was a extremely nice rig in our spot. No problem I figured there would be something on the office door for check in. There was not, just a bunch of envelopes with letter for you to fill out to find a spot. What? I was not in the mood to fill out any paperwork telling the RV park what spot I was going in, especially since that had already been established. I called the after hour office line and spoke to another nice lady who told me to pick out a spot and take it. Normally I would have been okay with this, however, I had already spoke to them the previous day and knew where my site was supposed to be. Why did they put someone else in my spot? Why couldn't they "find a spot"? I have my ideas that I will keep to myself. I decided not to stay here on our way back and don't plan on using them again. I can't say that I can recommend this place, but it is a spot to stop off at if you are traveling and need a night to stay somewhere. Maybe your experience will be a bit better than ours.

This place is like a ghost town! The dumpster was over flowing! The bathrooms were disgusting! Thankful we were only there one night! I would never recommend this place to anyone. If I could I would leave a zero star review

This is a great little RV park. Very easy off and on Highway 287. I’ve stayed there multiple times. Very smooth gravel pull thru sites. Some shade trees. Good water pressure. People super friendly. Need to get your food in Quanah or Childress. Reasonably quiet considering how busy Hw 287 can be. We definitely go back again.

Level, stayed one night, just passing through. $39 per night with 10% off Good Sam discount, bath houses were locked, pool was empty. Clubhouse was about to be cleaned for a family reunion. Easy highway access, train and road noise, owner Barry was friendly. Would stay there again if that way. Said the pool was beautiful but they’d luckily just had about 5” of much needed rain and turned it green.

We love this place!!! We stayed in September 22 for a week and came back in March 23 and stayed for a few months. It is quiet, peaceful, and just what we were looking for. The price is unbeatable with just the right amenities. The family running this campground is always easy to get ahold of in the event you need anything. Our dogs love the dog park, and the quiet surrounding roads for a walk. You’re close to Walmart and the grocery store has what you need. You’re less than 2 hours from Amarillo for any big errands. We love this spot and are already considering it as our place for winter. Small town Texas kindness at its finest!
