I loved the stay and can’t wait to come back. The location is perfect and within walking distance to a lot of the restaurants, shops, bars and a lot of attractions. With everything being so close, my car didn’t move during the whole stay. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and had help taking bags to the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious and beautifully updated. The snacks and wine each night was a nice touch and gives you a chance to socialize with some of the other guests. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Savannah.

Beautiful room. Stayed in a roomy duplex which was perfect for my grandson and me. Complimentary Klondike bars delivered to our room daily (my grandson loved it) and complimentary bottle of Cava in the room. Delicious appetizers and wine for nightly happy hour. Hotel is located on the water which made for interesting sights. Waterfront accessible to many restaurants and lots and lots of souvenir shops if you like that sort of thing. The restaurants we tried were excellent!

Most excellent staff! So hospitable. Such a huge surprise how big our suite was... more of an apartment! The room was super clean and fresh, with lovely decor. They provide nice extras like Klondike bars in freezer, and wine and hors d'oeuvres. (A suggestion for the inn would be a bakery providing breakfast pastries to go with the coffee in AM.) They provide noise machines and earplugs.... so, that is something to be aware of.... the historic nature of the buildings means we heard the conversations of our neighbors through the wall, and footsteps of our neighbors above. Also, and not a reason to not stay here, bc this place is wonderful, but just to be aware.... it is just outside the area where people are at night, and at the far east end outside of the "busy" area. Felt a bit "desolate" walking back at night. We ubered to and from historic center after dark. ||Overall A rating! Staff is A++!

Excellent Hotel. Large spacious rooms with kitchenette and comfortable living room. The bed and bedding was very good. The entire room was very clean. The layout was very comfortable. The location on the river front is perfect and the parking was convenient. The staff was friendly and very competent. The daily happy hour was very nice. We will definitely return.

We appreciated the spacious 2 bedroom suite, a good size for families. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Each night they had complimentary wine and snacks, and would put a Klondike bars in your freezer. Large umbrellas available for use. Convenient parking included.||Unfortunately, the beds were a bit hard / uncomfortable. We needed to ask for things like shampoo, which they provided.||The hotel was walking distance to many restaurants in the historic district, however it was very loud at night. It sits right on River Street, with booming cars and drunken partiers. It is also where the huge ships come through, who lay on their very loud horn at all hours. The hotel did provide ear plugs.

We booked a stay here for the history and the possibility of it being haunted. We loved it because of the amazing staff and amenities. The staff was so welcoming - we arrived early in the day and they held our luggage and then called us when our room was ready. Our luggage was waiting for us in the room and they walked us over and welcomed us. The lobby area has a fridge with complimentary water and sodas, they also have coffee and hot tea fixings all day long that are complimentary. Every evening at 5:30 they have wine and appetizers for the guests (again complimentary). It was a great time to meet the other guests and socialize. We didn't know what to expect with it being free but they had a variety of hot and cold eats which changed every evening. Our room itself was very large and included a living room, small kitchenette - stocked with ice cream treats everyday - a bathroom and very large bedroom. The one and only negative and I hate to even mention it as I loved this place so much was the noise. We could hear quite a bit of noise from the street as well as the other rooms. There was a white noise machine and ear plugs provided to us which helped. I found this to be a very small thing and to be expected in such a historical place. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at here for 3 nights and we were disappointed. The location is great, central to everything in Savannah, lots of shops and restaurants nearby in walking distance. The service was fine, although we didn’t need much. But the rooms…..are not good. Our room was not clean. The housekeeping could use an overhaul. So dusty, dead bugs on the floor, windowsills. Stains on couches and rugs. The linens looked clean. The entryway to the rooms was filthy. Also, it’s an old hotel yes, but the walls are paper thin. You can hear full conversations from the room next door. Lastly, they leave you ear plugs and you will need them. If your room faces River street, good luck getting to sleep before midnight. Wouldn’t stay here again.

This hotel was right on the main area for the parade and walking distance to any restaurant or bar. Finding the entrance road is a little tricky but manageable. Parking was safe and right at your door which is a really nice amenity. All the staff/security was above and beyond friendly and helpful. Make note, that this is a very old hotel so with character comes floor squeaks and thin walls. Also you're overlooking River Street so there is a lot of exterior noise. This was not a issue for us since we're normally the loud ones lol but I could see how it could be an issue for some people. The hotel does provide ear plugs.
