Went back to Old River Grill and had another great meal with our kiddo. The cinnamon roll French toast was a ten our daughter said. My wife had the Monterey chicken sandwich and she said it was delicious. I had the fish and chips and the batter on the fish was so good, the battered fries were amazing. This will be a regular spot for us to go to for great food and excellent service.

Today was our first time here and we absolutely had a great experience overall. Food was delicious and full of flavor. The service was on point (server was Angelica). I ordered the Pastrami Burger and my wife got the Monterey Chicken Club. Both were very good, and the fries were really good as well (lightly battered and seasoned). We also got the mimosa flight, which was really nice and a good deal for $25. Our server was genuinely nice (not the over the top, fake friendliness), and checked on us regularly. I 100% recommend this locally owned/family owned restaurant.

We got here when there was no wait to get seated. With in 10 min we placed our order but had to wait 47 to get our order. I’m not sure if this is the norm but with a 2 year old it was like pulling teeth. I tried to stay optimistic telling myself they still could redeem themselves if the food is good. My wife had the chicken and waffle. The waffle was ok, it was a little on the dry side. The chicken to batter ratio was a little off. It had more batter than chicken, a little dry but the flavor was there. I got my son the french toast. It was a little tough for him to eat but he will eat anything with syrup. I got the cinnamon roll pancake breakfast. I’m a big guy and I couldn’t finish them, probably the best cinnamon pancake I ever had. There are good and bad at this place. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. You can eat out doors or in. It feels like a mix of a old dinner mixed with modern. What got me was the wait after ordering….Kid or not it was a little long. Sitting with a 2 year old that long is crazy. I will come back to check out what else they have to offer but I’m not in a rush to get back. For the three of us we spent $59.

The food I ordered was awful homemade corn beef hash. I Was hesitant about Ordering this the server raved that it was so good. I was like I don’t know it has sweet potatoes in it. Plate comes out my eggs are overcooked, bacon, undercooked and yes, I say bacon cause it was ordered on the side. She takes the order back comes back. My eggs are cooked right but the food just was not good at all. I would never ever order that or recommend it at all. My meal also had some nasty break on the side,

The food was amazing it’s hard to find place where they have big breakfast now a days. Our server Shelby was friendly and welcoming. I had the country fried steak it filled me up. I’m a big boy and it’s hard to do that. Would definitely recommend.

Favorite spot...it’s more than breakfast.
The outdoor seating has come in clutch during 2020 as it has always been there and it is not a makeshift dining space.
The seating is comfortable and roomy. Heaters available during cooler temperatures and fans during the summer.

The food is always delicious and the staff is always consistently nice and courteous.
It’s so nice to dine where the staff is familiar with the menu and can offer great suggestions such as if you don’t get toast or biscuits and gravy you can enjoy a single pancake or French toast.

Today we enjoyed mimosa flights which were great you get the bottle with glasses of a variety of juice.
