A little off the highway, great if you want quiet and dark - we loved that for sleeping, but not great for a quick overnight stop while traveling CC. You have to go down some soft sandy dirt roads to get here. Stay off the shoulder it's really soft. The park was clean and the host was very nice.

Off the beaten path but easy to find if you follow the signs south of I 8 Wellton Az. / quiet, great base camp for 4 wheeling. Very accommodating hosts.
Star studded nights away from city lights. RV rates super reasonable... Will return again... Close to the Desert Penguin sports bar & grill and the Naked Date Farm with live music & organic date products featuring the High Tanks Brew Pub... Country Boy Bill

Wonderful place to stay. Owners John and Shelly were very accommodating and helpful. RV sites were easy to get in and out and had Full hook-ups. Numerous trails near by and easy access to Wellton and Yuma. Must try Geronimo Mex Restaurant when in town. No issues with this RV park. Highly recommend staying here. Cannot beat the price.

Beautiful and secluded RV park! Stayed here for three months. Planning to be back next year. Off roading from the RV park is cool! Couple things to note, Google maps will take you the short route, but not ideal route for big rigs, see picture and follow purple route I drew. There are signs out to follow but I missed them the first time in. Also, water is salty so you'll need to get fresh water for drinking. There's a bulk water vendor/building next to dollar general in Wellton that's $.075 for 5 gallons, bring your own container. Owners are great friendly folks. Washer and dryer in the park. The parking lot and road are sand roads and maintained. Very Queit place over all, with exception of jets flying over sometimes in the day, and soe dogs barking. Quietest RV Park I've been to.

This is a great place to overnight if you have gotten a late start out of San Diego. It's about a 5 mile drive from interstate 8 (and the train tracks), so it's nice and quiet. The people were friendly, helpful, and chatty. Great rates, but they don't accept cards. This was not an issue for us. The only issue we had was Google Maps. It had us going down an unpaved, sandy, wash style road rather than the 4 miles of paved because it was quicker. Our bad. Should have been using our RV GPS. There is a very good pizza & wing shop and a gas station back towards the interstate for anything you may need.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay here. Very small quiet park with surrounding views of the mountains. And desert. Can ride atv’s right out of park into the desert. Big rig friendly. The owner was very nice and accommodating. If your looking to get away from large cramped in parks, this is the one. Site pads are sand and the price for full hookups was cheap. We will definitely be back.
