The place was great! We stayed there for snowboarding and it’s a short drive from the resort, rooms were super comfy old style western, they have a super cool movie room and the snack area is stocked well except it’s only cash no card for the snack machines so come prepared! We also checked in early for an extra $30 bucks which was great! Overall 10/10 would stay here every time we come snowboarding.

Great experience all around. Great restaurant with good steakhouse food. Very warm western environment inside. Super friendly staff. Great owner. A nice gift shop inside as well. The hotel was great too, had a working heater in the room which came in handy during winter after coming back from skiing at Snowy Range. Everything was clean and ready to go. Will definitely be back soon.

The modest Old Corral Hotel provided our large group very good accommodations on a recent ski trip. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, and many provide a lovely view of the mountains. The overall ambiance was incredibly charming and has great character. The theater room and poker game room were unexpected surprises that we enjoyed. The owner and front desk staff were hospitable and helpful, offering local suggestions for dining and recreation. ||Our only complaints were that they could use some updated linens and maintenance to the bathroom fans.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay! The hotel is an easy drive to/from Snowy Range ski area. Room was perfect for our family; beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the game room and gift shop. We ate dinner two nights at the restaurant! It was so convenient to avoid driving in the snow, because we could just walk down the hall to the restaurant. The food was spectacular! We enjoyed the prime rib, chicken Alfredo, and the prime rib stroganoff! Everything was delicious! Our waiter, Joshua, was friendly and efficient. Every person we encountered was helpful, polite, & friendly. We enjoyed chatting with the owner, BJ, too. We’ll be back!!

It’s a rustic hotel in a summer town basically as the winter snow shuts down most of the roads for the winter going into the hiking areas, but it’s CONVENIENT. If you’re there to hike Medicine Bow, it’s ideal. Saves you a lot of miles going to and from Laramie or Rawlins.

The steakhouse is only open on certain days, was open the day I checked in and it was excellent! Unfortunately the rest of the very few establishments in town pretty much suck so you’re on your own for food when the steakhouse isn’t an option.

I was happy with the shower and never had issues with the TV or finding things I wanted to watch. Bed was a little hard but nothing drastic, I didn’t expect the Hilton though so not a huge deal as long as I could sleep, which wasn’t an issue.

I hiked everything I wanted to in the area including Medicine Bow Peak so I have no real reason to go back here, but would recommend it for someone wanting to explore the area.

The nearby hiking is incredibly gorgeous! Pretty much on par with RMNP minus the waterfalls. The trails and mountain scenery are almost identically awesome.

This place is fantastic! We will always stay here when we come up to ski at Snowy Range. Great rates, clean rooms, nice restaurant, cool theater room--everything about it is great, and then factor in the location and price, you won't find anything better!

BJ, the owner, is the heart of the place. A Wyoming native through and through, he’s got stories to share and a way of making everyone feel at home. You won’t find a warmer host anywhere. BJ’s hospitality makes the stay feel personal, like visiting an old friend, and his love for the land and the hotel shines through every word he says.

The rooms are simple, but just right. No fancy frills, but they’ve got everything you need for a restful night. The rustic décor matches the hotel’s charm, and the beds are as comfortable as any cowboy could want. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and let the stress of the world melt away.

The restaurant’s a must-try. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and perfect for a good meal. Joshua, our server, was top-notch—friendly and quick, making sure we had everything we needed. Whether you’re after a big steak or something lighter, the food is sure to hit the spot.

One of the highlights was the bison ribeye BJ cooked up for us—off the menu, but worth the extra effort. It was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, a true taste of Wyoming. Whether you're enjoying a steak or a special dish, the Old Corral’s restaurant is a big part of what makes this place unforgettable

An excellent value for the price we paid. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The town us also quite interesting. The restaurant was also very good. My wife fully enjoyed her strip steak and I survived the Fool's Burger.

We absolutely love staying here! Clean and comfortable rooms. A beautiful and relaxing outside area. The restaurant provides delicious food. I had the Salmon and pilaf. It was so good. My husband had a very tasty hamburger. We come back every year and always look forward to our time spent here!

We have stayed here annually for many years. Every time is so enjoyable! The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are clean. There are many additional bonuses. The beautiful scenery, a movie room, a spacious and peaceful outdoor area. There is a delicious restaurant that is attached. I ordered the grilled salmon with rice pilaf. It was amazing!|The staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone from the chef, Tex to Alston who kept coffee and supplies refilled to the ladies cleaning the rooms. It’s easy to see the owner has pride and care for Old Corral

Perfect place to stay after visiting Medicine Bow! The place was spotless and the beds comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The area was quiet and peaceful. The coffee shop in the parking lot was a great bonus! We would definitely stay here again! There is a gift shop in the front and an ice cream/gift shop down the street as well.

This is the fifth time coming up here. The staff is extremely friendly, hotel is clean and the food is phenomenal!! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, especially the steak or prime!! Save room for desert; the pies are to die for and the banana pudding is divine!!!

Last minute booking in this hôtel and steakhouse didn’t disappoint! The room was huge and very well decorated, with a Georgina AC which is really important!! The steak at the restaurant was perfect after a long day of hiking. |I would only recommend to stop here if you pass by this little village.
