A lovely, cozy local eatery. Food is served cafeteria style, but there's PLENTY to choose from, including desserts! Everything was delicious, and our server even offered to heat our pecan pie and top it with ice cream. Looking forward to visiting again! A small business definitely worth supporting!

Small, quaint, friendly atmosphere. The food was so fresh and delicious. Everyone working was very friendly, attentive and genuinely inviting people. Definitely worth a try if you’ve never been before. We will be repeat customers for sure.

I waited 300 miles all day to have some southern cooking and The Oil Lamp served it up right!

It’s cafeteria style and being a Yankee I was overwhelmed with the choices. I went with the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, turnips, black eyed peas, and pecan pie. It was all really good. And the price was about what you’d pay for dinner somewhere else. The young ladies running the counter and serving the tables were very pleasant and helpful!

We were driving to Florida from Indiana and I found this on the map. Glad we made the choice to stop.

In line watching how much of the meats are served to men versus women, I saw the tall, light brown haired woman repeatedly give men 2 huge scoops of roast beef and the women 1 average scoop. Price was the same. Ridiculous!! I thought this place was better than that…

Absolute best! My last meal before heading back to Marion Military Institute in Alabama and I couldn’t have picked a better place. Ms. Debbie looks out for you better than any server in Georgia if not the Southeast!

Hey Hey everybody!!! My food adventures landed me here in Perry Georgia at a local restaurant “Oil Lamp Restaurant “ this place is very calm and very southern just like me lol this restaurant is buffet style so you just walk down the food line and tell the nice people what you want and they put all the food on your plate and then you get your drink at the end of the line!!!! Today they had catfish, meatloaf, baked chicken and roast beef! I personally love seafood so I got the fried catfish and it was so very good! The Mac and cheese was good the loaded mash potatoes was good the biscuit was good and the pink lemonade!! This is a good place to get a quick bite to eat or you can take your food home and enjoy it in front of the tv! Next time you are in Perry Georgia stop at “Oil Lamp Restaurant “ you won’t be disappointed!!

Very busy on Fri and a wait for specialty items. RV show at Fairgrounds. Not all your favorite meats are available every day, but the meatloaf was delicious and plentiful. The caramel apple pie looks scrumptious.
