We rented upwards to 10 times in Savannah. This was, by far, our favorite. Location is perfect. We were on the 3rd floor (Unit 903) not as many stairs as we thought. High ceilings. Large king bedroom. Bonus of 1-1/2 bathrooms both a good size. Included anything you may need. Lovely courtyard. And right next door to Treylor Park so VERY convenient (and very good food there). Would definitely stay in Oglethorpe Lodge again.

I was looking for accommodations for my family that required 2 bedrooms. Oglethorpe Lodge more than fit the bill. We had such a nice stay. We stayed on the bottom floor in 901, incredibly charming and they thought of everything. Never thought I could find an apartment to rent that would be close to River St. and in the middle of everything that would be so quiet and convenient. Beautiful courtyard. Our own parking space. Kitchen with anything you would need, two large bedrooms that were really lovely and a really nice and comfortable living space. I would recommend to anyone and stay here anytime I come back to Savannah!

Extremely convenient to walk to shopping and dining. Somebody put a lot of thought into the space because it had a lot of small details that made it homey. I was shocked at how clean and wonderful it was because we didn't even find dust anywhere. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it to my family and friends. We had 4 adults stay in a two bed with 1.5 bath. It was so much better than being in a hotel and gave us so much space to be social with each other in the living area. Absolutely loved the place and all of the wonderful little details in it.

I searched for days trying to locate a nice place for a girls trip to Savannah. Lady Luck was on my side when the Olgethorpe Lodge showed up on one of those searches and I will forever be grateful it did! The second story room was perfect for the four of us. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Two bathrooms that was useful with all girls. The nice personal touches were certainly noticed. Fresh ground coffee, a notebook full of local restaurant menus and personal notes on the fridge. A free parking space is virtually unheard of in Savannah, and the lodge offers one with your stay. I just can't say enough good things about this place and I will tell anyone wanting to visit Savannah they MUST stay at the Olgethorpe Lode!

What a hidden gem in the midst of historic Savannah! We loved staying here and didn't need to drive anywhere. Loved being able to walk wherever we wanted and took the free bus to places that were too far to walk. Our apartment had everything imaginable. The owners thought of every little detail from the emergency rain ponchos to supplying toothbrushes and toothpaste to a stamped postcard to send to a friend or loved one. Our apartment was beautifully furnished. It was hot in Savannah when we visited and there were popsicles in the freezer left just for us. We didn't want to leave and wish we had more time.

Parking (1-space per suite) 20 feet from door. Cozy courtyard with birds/ bird feeders and two small fountains in the brick privacy wall. Typical savannah charm. Key codes for entry super easy. Accommodations clean, air works wonderfully. Kitchen is small but functional. Bathrooms are spacious. Living area comfortable. Bedroom large with a comfortable King in ours. Only downside, as a middle aged person with two bad knees the stairs are a challenge. No elevator but there’s not room for one. Would not recommend the top floor room unless you are fit!

Oglethorpe Lodge is a great place to stay in Savannah and it is about as good of a location as you can ask for. Property manager was very nice and checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was good.

- 1 parking space per unit is included. This is a HUGE perk. Your car is right outside your door, no need to go into a parking garage.

- Patio is a great touch for relaxing on a beautiful day

- If you like standard tavern/bar food, PS Tavern right down the street is very good and a fun atmosphere.

- As others have mentioned, stairs are required to get to the 2nd/3rd floors.
