Love this place. Hip Mexican atmosphere loaded with amazing folk art. Friendly attentive service. And the food is great. Original, artistic, fresh and not mass produced. Okay Local Cave Creek Person that loves supporting CC businesses 🤠 First the food was average, salsa was delicious and homemade (not free ) Our server was great - food came out fast. Taste average. The atmosphere was nice - big , but they had live music 🎶 playing when we were there, and I could not even hear the person on the other side of the table (in a booth) other than that - my mother was hard to convince to come back (70+ years old) me … well I will give it another shot, but they have to really read the room with a CC / Carefree crowd.

We met some friends for golf and they said they had a Mexican restaurant they liked. We went that evening and boy, were we happy! The Cadillac margarita was very nice and the chips and salsa were superb. The star was the 3 Pork Carnitas Tacos. We substituted flour tortilla (our preference). The flavor from the first bite to the last was flavorful, juicy and superbly seasoned. We couldn't be happier. We are about an hour away from the restaurant, but will most certainly be back.

Amazing food with outstanding service and ambiance. We ordered multiple dishes and shared them with the group. The drinks we ordered were just right and came out quickly. The food was cooked well and seasoned perfectly. What stood out to us was the rice and beans as the side of each dish. There were 3 different sauces with the order of chips for the table. Each dish was unique and worth trying, I can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu. Kudos to the chef and bartender! If you found this review helpful, please give a 👍

Second time dining here and both were fantastic! One was for lunch and one was dinner. Both times the food, service and atmosphere have just been great. Last night we had Karina as our server and she was wonderful. Margaritas delicious and food is next level true authentic Mexican. Green sauce chicken enchiladas are packed full of white meat chicken and the sauce is very good. We also had the mesquite chicken, birris tacos and pastor tacos. All very good. Rice and black beans are equally delicious. Guacamole is a bit expensive but worth it and the chips are light, salty and warm. This will be our new go to for Mexican in Cave Creek.

The last review is very accurate. Absolutely fantastic food, service, and ambiance. We were here when it wasn't as busy, so Christian let us tour and take pics to share. We stayed at Civana®️, golfed at the Boulders®️, and ate dinner here. HIGHLY recommend that approach if you're visiting.

The drinks are kickin' the bartender was fantastic, manager was very knowledgeable about tequilas. The al pastor fish tacos might be the best I've had since Ensenada. Great Happy Hour at the bar! Very authentic flavors here, if you like it hot, it can melt your face if you ask for it that way 🙂 . Ask to see the tequila room if it's quiet, it's an immaculate collection!
