My family always has the best time here! They have water access at most of the camp sites and also have a public swimming area with a sandy beach area that’s a lot of fun! The kids have a blast riding their bikes around the campground. The staff are so sweet and polite! We come multiple times every year during the summer.

Great COE campground on Lake Hartwell near Seneca, SC. Had each grandson visit with us separately during this trip. They had a blast swimming, fishing and riding bikes. Very relaxing, nice bathhouse, friendly hosts. We went ahead and booked an additional visit in October when the weather is cooler.

We had a blast ! The kids fished, went swimming, and can ride bikes, but we didn't get a chance . They have life jackets for the kids if they don't run out. Ask at the gate for life jackets. It's a clean campground , quit and everyone around us was so nice . Lots of campers have dogs, but they have a strict leash policy . We will definitely be back, real soon.

This would have been a five star if the bathrooms and bath houses weren’t covered in spiders. I don’t mean one or two. I’m talking hundreds. Since there are no sewer hookups shower houses are a must. Especially with children. However, all three we tried were covered in spiders both inside and out. We tried to work around them but after knocking some off us and seeing them even under the ledges by the shower we opted to wait and left the next day. If they’d spray and get those cleared up this would be one of our favorite spots. All spaces are right on the water making it accessible to swim right at your campsite rather than having to walk to drive to a designated area.

7/10 campground. At first I had no issues at all with the campground, it has very clean bathrooms and nice showers. The view is great on the lake. My only MAJOR concern is the fact that they lock the gates at night with no coded lockbox with a key. Not only is it a huge saftey concern considering that a wildfire is definitely probable with the amount of people with campfires around and the people would be trapped in the campsite if a huge fire were to break out. Secondly it was a major inconvenience for me who was planning on leaving around 3am becuase I had a long trip to NH ahead of me, so instead I had to leave at 7am making my trip end at 3am the next day... Other than the gate being locked without a coded lockbox with a key for it I have no complaints.

Nice campground. Quiet, beautiful lake view. Unfortunately the lake is incredibly low.
