This was my second stay at Norfork River Resort, and just like last time, it didn’t disappoint. My friend and I were in town for a trout fishing trip on the White River from May 9–11, 2025, and we knew right away we’d book here again after our positive experience last June.||The lodge rooms are spacious and well thought out—comfortable and clean from the moment we walked in. Ours had two good queen beds, a full-size fridge and freezer, a flat screen with DirecTV, cold A/C, and a dining table and chairs that actually come in handy. There’s a nice big window that lets in plenty of light, and we appreciated the quiet, restful setup after long days on the water.||The resort has free Wi-Fi, which worked great for checking weather and fishing reports. There’s also bagged ice available on-site and plenty of well-lit parking, which we appreciated coming back in after dark. The staff in the office were as friendly and helpful as we remembered—just good people running a solid operation.||Location-wise, it’s right in the middle of several great river access points, which made it easy to plan our days without wasting time on the road.||Overall, this is a clean, well-kept, no-hassle kind of place—exactly what we’re looking for on a trip like this. We’ll be back.

Place is amazing, river is absolutely breathtaking and easy to fish. Everyone on the trip has caught at least 3 fish, some as much as a dozen. The boats are well cleaned and perfect for the area.

The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. One of the guys, Lee, down at the dock taught all of us how to fillet the fish we caught and was generally very helpful.

The also have a decent pool from what I've seen though none of us have used it.

They have a lot of grills, charcoal and propane.

My recent stay at the Norfork River Resort was fantastic! My friend and I were there from June 12 to June 15, and everything about our visit was smooth and enjoyable.||Booking over the phone was a breeze, thanks to Steven who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, the check-in process was quick and efficient, setting a positive tone for our stay. We stayed in room 312 at the lodge, and it was impressively clean and spacious. The room featured two queen beds, a sofa, bedside tables, a dining table and chairs, a full-size refrigerator, and a nice window. The air conditioning was already on and cooling the room perfectly.||We appreciated the amenities such as the flat-screen TV with DIRECTV and the Wi-Fi, with the password provided at check-in. The resort itself offers a range of activities and facilities including a swimming pool, croquet area, boat dock, and a trout fishing dock. Unfortunately, the river current was too fast for us to use the trout dock, but it looks like a great spot for fishing under calmer conditions.||Additional conveniences include on-site ice for $3 a bag, and plenty of charcoal grills, picnic tables, and several gas grills available for use. The entire property is well-maintained and clearly designed with guests' comfort and enjoyment in mind.||Overall, the Norfork River Resort is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the North Fork River or White River area. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider returning. No regrets whatsoever!||**Highly recommend!**

Have been going here for around 8 years. Large very clean rooms and bathrooms staff and owners great. I recommend even of just passing through not fishing. And if you are visiting other attendees in the area. ||Free gas grills and utensils, Wi-Fi and beautiful pool and family area. ||They also have cabins for large groups.

My son and I, he was 14 at the time, 19 now, went up there and loved it. Peaceful area, people catching fish left and right. Me, a Louisiana boy, rented one of their boats and took it yp river against the rapids AND was trying to fish. 😆 we had a blast. There are also waterfalls and other things to do not to far from there. Great location. Will definitely be back one day.
