The breakfast bagel looks way better than it taste. Unfortunately it had no sauce so it was dry. I had to use my own mayo to give it some flavor. The coffee did taste good and probably will only come back for that. Service wasn’t the greatest. Multiple employees saw me standing without acknowledging me. I had to ask for help. It was my first time here and might give it a second try. I will update if I do.

New Penny Cafe is a great new option I'm Avondale for brunch fanatics. We were there last week for my daughter's bday and Heather took great care of us and was even able to setup a table for my family. We love the half order of biscuits and gravy, for only $6!. The gravy is not your typical white gravy, I believe if handsome chorizo or chipotle which gives it a full, creamy and chunky flavor for a secret menu tip add a side of carnitas🥰🥰🥰 My kid loves his big tenders only for $6.50 for 2 big one and a good size of fries and to drink there are many options, however, I had the chocolate Martini and the horchata liqueur which on the weekends are $2 off. Protein Bowls are about $9 with a good single serving, coffee drinks about $6, alcohol drinks vary but I paid $8 for the horchata drink that I forgot the name 🙄🥴😂 and $10 for the choco martini, not bad. This was the perfect brunch place after church. They are open until 3pm and there is a small lake next door for insta moments with your loved ones🥰. Thank you New Penny staff and Heather for taking care of my family.

It looked packed and the coffee smelt great so we stopped to eat. The vibe was great and coffee reminded me of the amazing ones in Melbourne Australia. Unfortunately the food we ordered was good but super bland and mushy. We will try it again though and try different food.

I love working from here. The staff is extremely kind. I ordered oats with a latte. Highly recommend, they give a generous portion and they do offer a variety of syrups and milk for lattes. I ordered a sugar-free caramel latte. Someone else took my latter, but the employees were quick to remake me a fresh latte. I will be returning soon.

Food was delicious, got 2 breakfast burritos. I had the California burrito and it was delicious. I was nervous of how good the meat inside would be considering this being more of a cafe but it was DELICIOUS. I got a small iced coffee that was pretty good too! The environment is cute and The service was super fast. The downside was it was very expensive. 2 burritos, a Danish, a small iced coffee and an apple juice was $50 which I wasn't anticipating.

This place knows what “kindness goes a long way” means!
I work from home and having a rough week so decided to treat myself.
I ordered two mornings in a row cause of how delicious & amazing their food & packaging was. They take great care into their craft & the second morning i ordered… they gave me a free cookie. I almost cried. Thank you so much. Highly recommend this place. Would give 10 stars if i could!

The cafe is really nice, decent size with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The breakfast burrito and the danish I got were delicious. I really enjoyed all the unique drinks they had. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.

I ordered 3 drinks. the sugar free copper coin with whipped cream and it was super watery had to doctor it up at home. than I ordered 3 shots of espresso with cream over ice and that coffee had a great taste. last drink i had was there black tea and that was pretty good similar to china mist brand tea. Also I ordered a bagel and that by far was the MOST disgusting bagel I’ve ever had. It was so hard and flavorless. I literally couldn’t even finish it. Also they gave me the wrong cream cheese. Definitely not worth the money. I would rather eat bagels from the grocery store.
