I can’t put the flavor into words. Everything was beyond amazing. We had the loaded potatoes and wings. The hot lemon pepper wings were my favorite!!! Can’t wait to go back to try more.

Just finished eating a wonderful meal of Smothered Chicken, Greens, Pinto Beans, Cornbread, Mashed Potatoes and Macaroni and Cheese. Topped off by some of the most wonderful Fried Apples I have ever tasted. Ms. Nettie is an AWESOME cook and a dear, dear Lady. God fearing and filled with love. I got to close my eyes and travel back to my childhood today. So much like Mother's home cooking. Thank you, Ms. Nettie, for sharing your table with us. Saving the cornbread for dessert 😉

Nettie Bell doesn't disappoint. Her steak and gravy on creamed potatoes are amazing! I have never tasted anything like them. And now we are eating Sunday lunch with Nettie Bell from now on. Greasy greens, Mac and cheese along with the dried beans.....make you want to slap someone they were so good! You want great soul food, go see Nettie Bell! ❤️

Everything she makes is seasoned or cooked in a way that is *better* than you have ever had it before. I can tell you that. No matter what it is, or how simple of a thing it is, you will be in disbelief that it tastes so much better than you expect it to. Even simple sides such as green beans. You think you've had green beans before. You think you know how they taste. You are wrong. Out of any travel experience I have had, this place is the one that just blows my mind every time I eat the food. It really is astounding. I find it difficult to put into words just how impressive her food is. I am always shaking my head in disbelief when I try a new dish. "WHY HOW can this (insert dish here) taste so good, and be so much better than I've ever had it before". This review is not hyperbole. You will see.

The food here is delicious, and Miss Nettie Bell is as wonderful a host as she is a cook. I had a plate with pintos, green beans and mashed potatoes with cornbread, my friend had a plate with pulled pork, etc. and we each took a plate home for a family member. The chocolate pound cake is scrumptious, as well. This is a definite must visit!

It was a joy to eat family recipes that you know have been passed down for many generations. Places like this are few and far between these days. For the price of a meal at the drive thru you can get some real food! Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
