Had a great stay during our weekend at Whisky Fest. We hauled our travel trailer over and stayed at their property, adjacent to the barn. Easy to get in/set up. Having the use of the half bath and trailer hookup was awesome! Darcey and Casey were great with communication, very hospitable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very neat and clean property. Thank you again!

A one-bedroom apartment in the loft above a barn may not sound like a great place to stay, but it is. The barn looks old and weatherbeaten from the outside. Once inside the apartment, you'll feel like you're in modern (but rustically-decorated) hotel suite. There's a full kitchen, and the host will stock the fridge and pantry with some breakfast items for you upon request. There's a spotlessly clean bathroom. There's a full bedroom, separate from the rest of the living space, with a big comfortable bed and a window that overlooks the horse pasture. The living room has a futon, an easy chair, and a TV.||||We had a bit of trouble finding the place. Google Maps took us too far up the road. And once we were there, we were unsure which door to use. For future travelers: use the door on the west side of the barn, then go up the stairs.||||My kids enjoyed seeing the horses and petting the cats. We had a great night's sleep and really felt at home here.||||The only reason I'm giving this place four stars instead of five is because the housekeeper and I strongly disagreed about the condition the apartment was in when my family and I left. She asserts that we "trashed" it, including smearing peanut butter and jelly on the furniture. I admit that we should have put away the cot (we found it in the closet, set it up for one of the kids, and didn't put it away in the morning), and we did leave some dirty dishes in the sink (because I didn't notice the dishwasher was already full of clean dishes until we no longer had enough time to put them away before we had to leave). But my son is allergic to peanuts and therefore definitely did not get peanut butter on the furniture. I've worked hotel housekeeping before; I know a trashed room when I see one.||||Unfortunately, the host was out of town and could not come in person to confirm or deny the housekeeper's claims against mine. As a result, the host has decided (and she has every right to do so) that my family and I cannot stay there again. I don't like that decision, but I understand.||||For a quiet, out-of-the-way place to stay in Pendleton, you can't go wrong with this place. Don't let my mistakes and miscommunication scare you away.

Great place to stay with or without horses! It was a nice quiet place to stay in our RV with hookups during the Pendleton Roundup!

I've stayed here a year ago on the way to bring down my friends horse to Coz. It is wonderfully equipped for horse owners and horses as well. The highlight was definitely the owner, Mary Alice.||Very friendly, warm hearted and welcoming!
