We have had a wonderfully relaxing visit to Murphin Ridge Inn. The view from our room overlooking the Appalachian foothills is glorious. It is absolutely quiet here. There are lovely walking trails on property.

And the food deserves a separate post all on its own. Dinner was as good good if not better than anything we have had in Europe or the US. And the included breakfast was top notch.

Murphin Ridge is the perfect place to go when you need to recharge and just do nothing! It is set in the midst of an Amish community and in the distance you can see the rise of the Appalachian mountains. Our room was extremely clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a bottle of wine delivered to our room and then enjoyed a great dinner on the patio. We sat in the rockers on the porch and watched fireflys late into the night. A hot breakfast was included and again, we ate on the patio under a canopy of trees. We would return any time, it is so close to Cincinnati but really so far away…..when arriving I saw three Amish men plowing a nearby field with two huge horses. it is peaceful, comfortable and great place to decompress. I would go back there anytime!

This is a beautiful place. Quiet and peaceful, clean and neat with great service. They have walking trails, an outdoor swimming pool for the summer. It’s a peaceful getaway!

We ate dinner here but weren't able to stay but we stayed close by. The food was out of this world! The service was great. We watched our steaks being cooked outside, the onion soup was to die for, salad was delicious and the steak with mashed red potatoes and steamed broccoli was more than anyone person could eat.

We just got back from our fifth stay at Murphin Ridge Inn, and I couldn't wait to share the love. Seriously, this place is like our second home now. The staff is amazing. They treat you like family. You can feel the warmth and friendliness from the moment you walk in until you sadly have to leave.The food is hands down the best we've ever had. Farm-to-table goodness for breakfast and dinner . We always leave every meal and cant wait to the next one.Tucked away in Amish Country, The cabins are cozy, the grounds are gorgeous, and you can't help but relax. Love the in-room fire place and jacuzzi. If you're looking for a calm getaway with amazing food and the friendliest staff ever, Murphin Ridge Inn is your spot. We're already planning trip number six!

We have been here 4 times, but had not been here in many years. It is a perfect place to get away. Cabins are beautiful. No TVs which was good to have a quiet weekend. Great breakfast included with stay. Optional dinner if you want. Lots to do around the area (hiking, Amish shops). Large fire pit at night. Friendliest staff. Not a thing I would change.

This is an amazing place. Super romantic, amazing food. Super private. Probably one of the best places I've ever seen to have a wedding. Separate luxury bunk house, cabins throughout the property, period home, 1800s set to perfection. Make a reservation asap!!
