One of the worst experience I have had in over 40 years we entered the restaurant was told to pick a table. After the fact, the two young ladies tried their hardest to accommodate. Waited for our drink orders to be taken only to wait another 15 minutes for the drinks asked for cream three times and then our order was taken. I was served a French toast took one bite of it. It was the worst French toast I have ever had. I called the waitress over and asked her for another order because this one was not edible. She took another order of eggs and bacon. Our eggs were overcooked and so were my husband’s. The girls were pleasant. The food was not very tasty at all. At the end of our meal when the bill was brought to us the French toast was still on the bill I asked the waitress to remove the French toast, as it was not edible. She says she couldn’t because they didn’t want to lose sales so we asked for the manager. She came back with the French toast off our bill, but we could hear the manager in the back, who I assume was also doing the cooking Stating that just because Kitchenyou don’t like it doesn’t mean you don’t have to pay for it. That’s not how it works for your information lady that is exactly how it works. You open up a restaurant you’re supposed to serve food that is edible and if you cannot accomplish this feat maybe you should not have a restaurant. We will never come back to this establishment again and all of our friends that we know in the neighborhood will be told of this also. Not only was your service lousy your food was lousy and your response to it and customer service was lousy three strikes you’re out

My mom drove 90 miles from central AZ to meet me here for breakfast, only to receive slow service, sub-par drinks, and have the restaurant be out of the item she wanted. It took at least 10 minutes to get our order taken, and another 30 minutes to get our food. The Arnold Palmer my mom ordered was the worst she'd ever had - something about the tea was off. The iced coffee I got seemed watered down. We were going to split a breakfast burrito and an order of biscuits and gravy - but they had run out of gravy (how does that happen before 10am on a Sunday?) This might have been for the best, considering another reviewer said their B&G is bad. The burritos were actually tasty, but not really enough to make up for everything else. The restaurant has two restrooms but only one had a working door that closed and locked properly. At least the restrooms were clean and had funny decor.

Friendly (I assume owner?). It was our first time & they were very welcoming. They have a daily dinner special & I tried the Monday Meatloaf. Started with a dinner salad. Moist & tasty meatloaf with mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, & dinner roll all served piping hot. Good prices. Will be back.

Excellent Breakfast Burrito in a quaint little restaurant, with excellent service. They also have various daily specials and also support local charities.

Mountain View Kitchen is a small, comfortable place that does everything right.
The menu is extensive and varied. It is good for those of us with special dietary needs. I had the do-it-yourself omelet. It was done with four ingredients of my choice, potatoes, and a choice of toast. Service was prompt and friendly, and the price was reasonable.
The location is a bit off the beaten path, but worth finding.

If you’ve never been here, do yourself a favor and enjoy some excellent homemade dishes! I ordered a Gluten Free pie to pick up later in the week and it was worth every single penny! And she made it SO beautiful too. I can’t say enough good things about Mountain View 🙂 oh…and the breakfast burrito was delicious!

Unfortunately the good waitresses were replaced with very young inexperienced help. We usually get very good service. Always filling up our glasses and providing good quality food and drink service. Not today! So now it looks like we have to find a new place to enjoy good food in Fountain Hills. So sad and disappointing yet another decent restaurant goes off the rails.

Mountain View Kitchen is one of our favorite restaurants in Fountain Hills. The food is delicious, served hot and you are never forgotten by your server. Their menu also includes many vegan and vegetarian options, which is really great to see. The desserts are homemade and amazing and even the coffee begs a mention because they buy it directly from a coffee roaster in town…it’s smooth, delicious and heavenly! Parking is plentiful.
