Staff was so helpful and accommodating. Staff sent a text checking on us each day to make sure we didn’t need anything. If we had any questions or concerns we could text and get a response very quickly. For us not being bothered by a phone call was very appreciated. It was such a romantic weekend. We enjoyed the serenity of the outdoors. The sunset was absolutely stunning.

Nice view from room of lake and boat docks. Dinner was very good, lots of food and no room for dessert! Lodge room has little patio with chairs and barbecue and nice view. Enjoyed our stay!

The staff at Harbor are above and beyond with their service. Always friendly and helpful. The condo was exceptionally clean and nice. Met all our needs. Have been coming for years and will be back next year! The view from the condo was beautiful. Great hiking nearby.

The customer service was outstanding. We ate the the restaurant 3 days in a row and each time the foid and service were both excellent....the onion rings are addictive. We stayed ay the joplin inn abd although it is a bit more basic than the lodge, it was a great price. I plan to stay there again.

My sister and I always stay here! The employees are ALWAYS so kind and helpful. From the employees at check in to the employees at restaurant in the lodge and even the gas station employees are the BEST! We have come here 4 times in the last year and fell in love with the area! We will be back very soon!

Gorgeous cabin with beautiful view of the water. Our cabin became the nightly gathering place for all 4 couples since it was roomy and comfortable for everyone. Spacious deck overlooking the water with rocking chairs to watch squirrels and birds, as the sun went down. Great experience.

My wife and I spent a weekend at Mountain Harbor and had a wonderful time. It is such a picturesque place and a great place to get away from the everyday stress’. We stayed in a cabin and really enjoyed the back deck looking out into the forest and the hot tube. The entire staff are super friendly and want to make your stay the very best. We both enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Mountain Harbor as your get away from your everyday pressures of life. TJ

We are newlyweds and booked the valentines special weekend for our very first valentines together. We loved the beautiful scenery, our cottage and our spa treatment. We loved it so much that we planned to book another week long stay in the fall upon check out. We thought we had found our "place". All that changed when we went to the special valentines dinner. We arrived at 7:05 for our 7:15 seating. There were a few people in the waiting area and the earlier seating was still being served. We waited for a total of one hour and forty minutes to be seated for our meal. Many people who came in after us were seated before us. Names were not called. It appeared that whoever grabbed a server and asked to be seated were seated. We were among the last to be seated, though we were among the first to arrive. It was standing room only in the waiting area and my husband has a medical condition that makes it very difficult for him to stand for long periods. Once seated, our drink order wasn't taken. The appetizer was one very small crab cake. The serving of soup was just a half a bowl. By this time, I was in tears and my husband was in pain. I asked for the remainder of our meal to be packaged to go. Our first valentines celebration ended terribly and with huge disappointment. When we finally had our carry-out meal, it was a tiny portion with just three shrimp. The waitress apoligized and said that they would comp our meal, but we had already paid for our meal with our package. Needless to say we did not book the week-long stay that we had planned. Our first valentines day was ruined by a very poorly served and prepared meal. So disappointing!
