Worst customer service I have ever encountered! When We arrived to our Room on check in it had clearly not been cleaned but hey accidents happen. I called and spoke with a nice woman who was able to a crew on their way. This caused me to have to feed 2 adults and 4 children with take out when our original plan was to cook in the room. (beware these rooms do not have real ovens just convection microwaves) During our stay blinds were literally falling off the walls. When my GF opened the microwave for the first time a broken vent cover flew off nearly hitting my youngest child. The lamp with charger next to my bed was not functional and had a broken bulb stuck in socket. I am a contractor with 20 years experience in home repairs and my experience tells me these are known issues that have had previous attempts at repair. After voicing these concerns to management I was told to wait a calendar week to hear back about potential discount. Crickets. The location is great with good potential if only The management company cared about the guests and not just the profit. Do better Meredith Lodging.

Place was dirty when we arrived, amenities were broken. Location was great but this place is a joke. Amenities do not match what they charge and there is no accountability by the office since most of the condos are independently owned. The worst customer service I’ve ever received. The jacuzzi was broken in our unit for all nights we stayed there and Tracy from Meredith Lodging messaged us an hour after check out to let us know we could have used the community jacuzzi, who does that? 😳 Don’t waste your money or your energy with these people. Book somewhere else.

I have been renting vacation property from Mount bachelor Village Resort in Bend, OR initially and then Meredith Lodging in the same location for about 8 years. I would have not complained, although there were some issues, like generally outdated and often not renovated units with old furniture. Location is beautiful, amenities satisfactory and I had good time there, until now when there was a construction, going outside my windows and waking me up literally at 7am.Drilling, banging noises , music, loud voices, you name it. Talked to Meredith Lodging representative and wrote a complaining email, but other than apologies it was waste of my time. They were patronizing me and clearly didn’t care about me. I requested to be relocated to other unit(and there were plenty available), but my request was declined. I know their excuses-they are not owners of the property, blah, blah, but why they rented it knowing that construction is going on?|Needles to say this is my last time renting this property, I have already booked cottage through Airbnb for my next vacation in Bend.|Adieu Meredith Lodging!

Stayed in room 316A for a friend’s wedding. This place is a rip off and there’s no accountability because each condo is independently owned. At least that’s the excuse the front desk gives. After taxes/ fees this room was $500 a night.

We arrived to check into the unit and the front deck wasn’t completed. We brought in all our luggage while trying to avoid accidentally sticking our foot into one of the holes.

We booked a river side condo. One of the big blinds inside was broken with the string left on the couch so clearly someone knew it was broken and left it. Paid for a view we couldn’t even fully enjoy.

Back deck was supposed to have a jacuzzi. They ripped it out and left the renovation in a mess. Didn’t even bother trying to clean it up or cover it. Luckily we didn’t have kids with us otherwise it would have been a safety nightmare.

I don’t understand how a rental can be left in this condition and still be charging $500 a night. Brought up concerns to front desk and they refunded 10% and said they would give feedback to the owners so it’s addressed. Appreciated the 10% refund but that didn’t make up for a rental in this state with safety issues.

Great location, great views, our condo was lovely but the resort facilities like game room, pool and bikes are pretty basic. The pool is also open seasonally only.

Unbelievably awful place for such a beautiful property. Meredith Property Mgmt is definitely the cause. They have absolutely no idea what customer service means. They manage by bullying and extortion. They are disorganized. Owner was present in the condo we booked but we absolutely had to wait until exactly 4:00 to get another condo. If we had checked in even 1/2 hour early we would have been charged $50. Their rental agreement is like signing loan documents for a bank. No cups or glasses in condo, no tissues, someone’s used ear plug on floor. Yuk! TV was stuck on “snow.” Lotion dispenser was empty. The “guest experience “ person, Tracy, whom we phoned about the condo was rude, patronizing and no help at all. Shawn at the front desk on the property was at least pro active. Bottom line, I would NEVER stay there again, nor would I ever recommend it.

I had the most amazing time! The house was incredible, with stunning views from every room, and the service provided by Meredith Lodging was outstanding.

The resort is situated by the Deschutes River, and you can hear the soothing sounds of the river from your room, which gave me the best sleep I've had in ages!

I will definitely return for sure.
Thank you, Meredith Lodging!

We had an awful experience with Meredith Lodging. They provided a room that stunk, with no hot water and a lopsided bed. They told us they wouldn't charge us for a gym use, they then did charge us. They told us this was a mistake and they would refund the money and they never refunded it. We told them we left because of the weather, but if we had stayed in Bend, we most likely would have found a new place to stay.

Factors that indicate this unit was unsatisfactory were:

- We were promised unit 421A which is pictured with different furnishings than unit 422A had. My wife spent a lot of time on the phone looking at pictures and selecting a unit - specifically 421A. That was not the room Meredith provided.

- Unit 422A was wholly unacceptable because:

+ The water was lukewarm at best - we were told it might be fixed by the plumber between 1 and 3 today. We don't know that that happened, but no hot water in cold weather is unacceptable.

+ The room had an odor that made my wife sick to her stomach. It was some type of cleaning solution that gave the unit a foul smell.

+ The bed was not fully on it's base and we did not sleep well the night we arrived. In the morning I was able to push it back on its base, but we didn't realize that was the problem until that morning.

- In addition, we were promised complimentary gym utilization, but when we showed up, we were required to pay $30 for 2 of us for admission. We were told it would be refunded but it has not.
