Solid place for a overnight stay. The rooms are good sized and clean. I really liked that the floors weren't carpet! The water got really hot and the pressure was good. There are both an indoor pool and hot tub on site and the hot tub was a good temp (I didn't try pool). There was also a mobility lift for the pool (again, didn't try). There isn't an elevator, so be mindful of that when booking if that's a concern.

There is ample parking and a few places for Uhaul/towing.

My only complaint is that the room lighting is extremely bright (possibly fluorescent?), which didn't bother my husband but I am light sensitive so felt it worth noting. I just used the vanity area light and that worked fine.

Was nice clean and quiet. Our pup enjoyed his stay too. It wasn’t expensive for his stay. Less than $15. We arrived in the early morning hours and was able to get a late check out. We will use this motel as our stop over spot from now on. 😊

Stayed for two nights. Affordable prices. Clean room, looked like it was newly built. Everything was great the first night. On the second night we had awful neighbors in the next room who were cussing and shouting and very loud and noisy (probably gaming (?), shooting noises). Couldn't sleep, was feeling a bit unsafe, finally used earplugs and slept. Didn't want to get up and communicate with the staff, maybe they would have helped. But everything else was good.

One of the best motels I have ever stayed in so far !!! Clean rooms, comfy beds, and clean bathroom with plenty of towels and amenities. Check-in and check-out were quick and informative. It's also a great location right off the highway from the walking distance of Walmart and Starbucks. Quiet neighborhood with security cameras on premises. I definitely suggest this place for staying.

Affordable yet Comfortable Rooms, Excellent Service

Location: The motel located in a convenient area of the town.
Amenities: Rooms are very clean and large with comfy beds. Refrigerator and microwave are included, with a table and 2 chairs. AC works well. Large parking spaces. They also have indoor community pool and hot tub.
Service: The 2 ladies at the front desk were very nice to give us downstair rooms because my mom could hardly going up the stairs.
Would I come back? Yes, for sure, and I would recommend this motel to people I know.

Phenomenal bang for the buck as I stayed recently for under $70 on a Saturday night. Local ownership with a longtime staff who treat customers as individuals. A testament to excellence. And oh yeah -- how about the indoor pool and hot tub? A-plus all the way around.

I would probably give this accommodation 4.5 stars if I could. Very little to criticize here. First of all, the person at check in was very efficient and welcoming. It took less than 5 minutes to get me checked in and advise me on everything I needed to know about this property. The room was nothing special but the bed was comfortable, all the appliances worked fine, all areas of the room were well lit and the heater worked well. The room was spacious and they accommodated my request for an upper level room away from the road. The property was very easy to find and very reasonably priced. Did not use the indoor swimming pool or hot tub but the facility looked good. Was nice to have complimentary food and beverages. They even had home made complimentary cookies at the front desk. Was a very short stay here for me as I arrived late afternoon and left early the next morning but I felt very comfortable and relaxed at Motel West. I would definitely stay here again. I had been through Idaho Falls a few times before but I had never stayed here. Would like to spend more time in this city some point in the future and Motel West is in a really good location to get around from...

Stayed 1 night. Decent & Clean. Does have long term guests, but I had no issues with anyone. My complaint is that after checking out, I asked where the laundry room was & the Lady said, “ Our Laundry is only for registered guests & if I wanted to use them, I would have to pay for another night”. I will be passing through every weekend for a night for the next few months, but now I will take my business elsewhere!!

Room was clean and well lit, beds were comfortable and staff were very friendly! No breakfast, but they did have coffee and juice and the rates were very reasonable. Overall quite happy with our stay!

Great room! Beds are comfy, pillows are great. Clean and simple. Fridge worked perfectly. Would highly recommend!
