Great location & Harvey at the front desk took real good care of us. The place was clean enough for us, but not great. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable, but we did sleep. We stayed 2 nights & my back was sore after the 2nd night. It's an older motel so stuff is worn, laminate on bathroom sink cabinet is peeling off, stains in shower ... But the price is right & We always stay at the Motel Plaza when in Vermilion & will likely again.

I have only been a guest here for a few days, but I want to address the negitive reviews on this page, They do not have bedbugs! The rooms are not fancy, but clean and cozy Bobby and his wife have been nothing but kind too me, I am relocating too Vermillion because I just lost my mother, and wanted to be closer to my family, And I for one think it is horrible for you too outright lie and say nasty things, this is someones livelihood, and I am thinking the negitive reviews you have put on this page have more too do with you trying too get something for nothing! Be honest ! No bedbugs the rooms are clean and cozy quiet safe environment.

I was up for a fishing trip so I only needed a bed and shower but the manager was very nice and polite. The prices were very reasonable. Air conditioning worked fine. Room was clean.

We have been staying at this motel for many years. Every summer for a week and stay as often as possible for weekend stays throughout the year. Usha and Bob are wonderful people. Very very clean rooms. We have always had excellent visits. We highly recommend this motel to eveyone.

THEY HAVE BED BUGS.... We brought it to their attention, then they had the audacity to say we brought the bed bugs in. Asked for a refund and they refused & called VPD. The owners wife had the audacity to try & tell my children what to do... room was dirty, hair in the sheets and in shower. Rude as he'll!

I have stayed at the motel plaza for four months. They are very very dirty and unsanitary. The owners are very rude and will yell at you and call you names. I had them clean my room one day and they started yelling and fighting to the point I had to walk out it was that bad. I also helped them out by cleaning and fixing things around the motel and they said they would pay me and never did. They told me I was freaking crazy if I thought they were gonna pay me so I let it go cause it wasn't worth the hassle just never helped them out again. The room stink like mildew and they have bed bugs would not recommend same there to anyone.just my experience if this seems like your kind of place be my guest but don't say you weren't warned and also they will try and screw you s male sure you get receipts no matter what. Thanks for reading and hope you don't stay there. Oh and don't try to correct them on anything cause you will get a ear full cause they know everything and your below them
