This is a humble place, so if you're looking for fancy, or even mainstream boring chain hotel, it's not for you. But if you want a decent price, great location in downtown Flag, and a comfortable room and bed, it's great. My room was small but clean. There's a spot to sit outside to have your wine or coffee, and just sit and watch the birds. Guests are mostly friendly. Staff were kind but some (the younger ones) didn't know Flagstaff very well, or what might be available nearby; they couldn't answer any of my questions. I suppose so many people use their phones now that the staff aren't used to answering local questions any more. Breakfast was basic. They could add a lot of value with a nicer breakfast, or coffee/tea and kettles in the rooms. But it's just fine the way it is. Walking distance to the downtown area, and right next to the train station. Food options and shopping everywhere. You do hear city noise all the time, but I never found it bothersome, not even the train. I would totally stay here again.

Perfect location for downtown flagstaff, just a short walk across the railway into town. The motel feels like an old time motel on route66, perfect for us as tourists. It’s close to the railway which didn’t bother us but if you’re light sleepers grab some free ear plugs from reception. Breakfast was included which was welcome and rare as we toured around the south west. Staff were really helpful during booking and the stay itself.

A nice vintage motel that really worked to keep the vintage feel. Rooms were kept true-to-history so don’t expect luxury. Very charming because of that, though. Location can’t be beat, just keep in mind that since it’s in an area with lots of bars you’ll be hearing folks late at night. Also you’ll hear trains. Bring a white noise machine! Great value if you just need a place to rest your head overnight.

My wife and I stayed three nights and four days at Motel DuBeau Travelers Inn in Flagstaff, which was as close as we could get to the Grand Canyon without spending a small fortune. Great location next to Downtown Flagstaff!! Our Queen Bed Room was very nice, clean, with the exception of a few past guest's hairs on the bed sheets and floor. For the price, our room was exceptionally clean and a really good value. My only complaint overall of the room/bathroom was that the shower compartment was very tight, not really offering much room to move. I am 6'-0" in height with a very large arm span and I had trouble moving around in the shower compartment. Other than that, the room/bathroom were very clean, nicely remodeled, and offered plenty of heat for the cold, late December nights!! Highly recommend Motel DuBeau Travelers Inn for the money!!!!

I booked two nights in but I couldn't finish staying for the duration because I had to go back to Phoenix without a refund for the second night. The room was very tiny for two of us, barely had enough room to walk around with our luggage on the floor. Our room had a window next to a street and it was noisy at night with people walking outside and a train running through the night. The room came with breakfast included but there was no hot breakfast, only had some cold, ready to eat breakfast snacks in plastic wrap. I will not stay at this place again the next time in Flagstaff as I would need a bigger room to stay.

On our way to Vegas, we decided to stop and stay in Flagstaff. We found Motel DuBeau based on the reviews. We called and nobody answered as it was their breaktime. I did not leave a message. 10 minutes later, we got a call from Jill, I believe it was her name, stating she missed out call a d wanted to know how she could help us. They were booked for the night. She asked if I wanted to be on her wait list as we would be #2. First of all, I have never had a place call back like that when not leaving a message and thought it was very cool she did.

So we did find another spot, which was great... but we received a call from Jill at 7:30 p.m. Just to let us know that they did not have any cancels, did get full, and hoped we found a spot!

Who does this? I can only imagine the service we would receive if we were actually guests. Soooo yes, I am leaving a great review even though we have never stayed. It is for sure going on my favorite places and we will stay someday in the future.

To Jill's boss.....if she isn't the boss..... I assure you that Jill is a rare find, and I hope she is still there when we someday stay in the future. If the rest of the staff is this good on customer service then you have accomplished something that others have not!

One of our favorite places to stay. Quaint, clean. affordable rooms. Walking distance to Amtrak. My parents brought me here one time when Ai was a kid & it brings back fond memories. I love their community kitchen & lounge/dinning area.

We booked this motel about 45 minutes before we arrived and were very happy with our decision. It is in a great location in Flagstaff (which is a beautiful town). Being near the railway line was no problem and there were complimentary earplugs had we needed them. The room was clean and comfortable and had a nice vibe to it. Breakfast was adequate, I think Motel Du Beau would be better off providing no breakfast as is the case with other places we stayed at rather than long life products. We would happily stay again and would recommend it.
