I left my wallet in the room. I called and Herschel went up to my room got my wallet and brought it down to the front desk. He held onto my wallet for me for two days until I return back to the hotel. Great staff, hard-working a great place to stay.

It was an alright experience had everything I need. It was also peaceful in the room. What I would improve is the sheets having some black stuff on them like dirt and the noisy air conditioner maybe the filter wasn’t cleaned out of it for my room.

LOOK closely at all of the reviews and heed the ones that talk about the lady that runs the place. Those reviews do not lie about how rude she is. She may possibly be the owner, or related in some way to the owner, by what I could decipher. ||First, she couldn't find my reservation, even though I booked a 2-night stay on the Motel 6 app. I showed her my app that I had opened to this specific reservation. She saw the button that says 'cancel reservation' and tried to tell me that the reservation was canceled. I said that that was impossible, I had made the reservation not too long before checking in and signed the consent that I knew that I could not cancel because it was too close to check-in time. Then when she realized that I did have a reservation and I was traveling with pets she said that there was a $15 cleaning fee. I had already verified with Motel 6 reservation center that this location there was no charge for up to two small pets. When I made a fuss about that just calling it a cleaning fee doesn't mean that there is no pet fee. They are just calling it something else and saying that pets stay free. It all seemed very strange to me. It was like she could care less if you were to stay there or not. Or, it's possible that she trys to say that you don't have a reservation and then charges more than rate you had booked. There are a few reviews that say she charged people that had a reservation and then due to health issues request a ground floor room. She certainly wanted to charge me a pet-fee... wait, I mean a 'cleaning fee' for cleaning a room that has free pet stay ? ||The room and facilities were okay. I would say that they are on the better side of the average Motel 6. There were no luggage carts provided. For older people, or people with health/disability issues, this can make it quite difficult. Be advised that there are no elevators if you happen to get a room on the second floor. There was a mini-fridge and small microwave. A Waffle House next to the property is nice if you happen to get hungry in the middle of the night. ||It's a shame that the manager wasn't a more hospitable person. She is working in the hospitality business. If you want to keep people utilizing your business in their travels, I would suggest treating them with dignity and respect and try and be as pleasant towards them as possible. It can work wonders for your overall success.

Today was a great day staying at this motel. Rachael at the front desk is super amazing. She goes above and beyond for her guests and Hershey does as well. I love staying here. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that was so friendly, clean, and the staff going above and beyond!

Positive: Overall, it was very clean. The room was clean and smelled clean. However..see below comment. Negative: The bed linens were NOT clean. They were wrinkled, obviously from being slept in. The knob on the AC was broken, so temperature could not be adjusted.

My experience at Motel 6 in Moss Point was great. The housekeepers Shovanda Kelley and Sonia Harrell are the best they took care of my room and the service were awesome. The owner Hershey is very nice and professional I will most definitely recommend Motel 6 in Moss Point.

No deposit and the rooms are clean and spacious. Normally these hotels are terrible in the major cities but I was surprised to find this hotel so clean and modern.
