Great big place. Easy to find just off the highway. Not many trees and not even a picnic table. But so many good things. Lots of pools and real hot tubs. Showers and bathrooms everywhere. People are friendly and helpful. The staff are great and answer all your questions
So adding to this we did have a dog issue. Our dog is big( will add photos) small dog people got mad at me from using the dog parks. Most were great but it only takes a few to spoil it for others. If you have a large dog I would not recommend this place

Very nice and clean Resort, friendly staff, they answered all questions I had. Great location, large level sites, great visibility. We will definitely return and stay longer next year. This Encore Park was one of the best we've stayed at over the years.

Stayed for 2 weeks. RV sites are clean and each has its own trash and recycle bin. This place is awesome! Employees and amenities are too notch. Lots of pools and spaces to hang. Bathrooms were always stocked and clean. We met lots of nice people as well.

This is our second year here and here are a few observations.
If there is an empty rv spot, people will walk or drive thru the spot as a short cut. Even the staff does this.
Observe some here in the rv section with a large dog. When they are gone it barks at anything that goes by, plus they do not appear to be of the age requirement for being in the resort.
Cleaning staff need training on cleaning. You can go into any of the showers and the same trash that was in there the previous week is still there. Also there is drain flies in the men’s showers.
Staff does not follow some of the same rules as residents or invents rules. Also rules are not enforced across the board. For example no parking RVs after dark. Several times I have witnessed security escorting rv to rv spots after dark.
The amenities are very nice, but they are starting to price residents out of the resort.

We were at Monte Vista RV Resort for 3 weeks. It was easy to get involved and everyone was very welcoming. The mail room hand delivered our mail - which seemed like an extra mile. We had a problem at our site which we had caused - Jo at the office was extremely proactive at coming to a win-win scenario for both of us. Efforts made by the staff at this park along with actual "resort" like accommodations make this a premier location in the Mesa/Phoenix area and also for the national Encore Park system.

The staff here could not possibly be less friendly. It's as if no one told them they were in the hospitality field and instead someone told them they work for the department of corrections. If you haven't already made reservations, do yourself a favor go somewhere else

This place is old tired misrepresented on their website. The staff is new. Don’t know what they’re doing. When I pulled in. I was guided to my site and the guide who is security didn’t know the difference between a septic hookup and the water hose. That’s how new he was.||I was also told when booking that the cancellation policy was three days prior to, and when I arrived, I was told it was nonrefundable the moment it was booked. This was also goofed up three times prior to arriving partially with thousand trails and partially direct with the staff. ||Thirdly, you would think you were asking for the holy Grail just to get a monthly program of which they ran out considering sponsors pay for all that it’s disgusting to say the least try getting a hold of somebody at the office where the RVs are and they’re never there and when they are there, they’re all standing around not knowing what they’re doing ||I suggest you look at other parks in the area since we stayed at a great one and superstition in February hands-down at 10 compared to this one of which one is being generous

The staff at Monte Vista RV Resort make the difference. It helps that the park is a premier location with great amenities, but the personnel going the extra mile in every area of the resort with service and professional conduct - that is the cream on the top. This is the highest quality park I have visited in the Encore system.
