The service was not bad, but the girl who took my order could’ve at least welcomed me or smiled. The woman who actually made my drink was pleasant and I appreciated her taking the time to verify my order 🙂
I ordered:
- honeycomb bread 7.5/10
- limited time offer of Dubai strawberry cup 8.5/10
- pistachio iced latte 8/10
- manakeesh 8.5/10 (soooo worth it!)
I spent about $35 in total, definitely coming back

This is now officially my favorite coffee house in Bakersfield. The decor and the serving trays etc are cute. The hot pistachio latte was delicious. My mom and I got different milks and she was able to have hers made less sweet to her preference. The Ma’amoul date filled butter cookie was a perfect little bite to go with it, sweet, but not too sweet, and crumbly that reminded me of my Moms shortbread cookies. We also tried a savory snack that I picked from their fresh baked display. It was very much like pie crust with mixed in spices. We sat for about an hour just enjoying a lovely place for a coffee and visit. There are a few games on a shelf if you like that. We used Google translate to find out what the arabic sayings on the wall said. Some were rather clever. If you order 32oz of one of their specialty teas or coffees, they bring it in a fabulous serving carafe. Super nice serving staff. I will definitely be back!

Traveling through, I was excited to stop by this coffeeshop. The decor is lovely with Arabic style artwork. I tried an iced Pistachio Latte and was pleasantly surprised! It was made with a pistachio sauce rather than a syrup—it was delightful tasting the nutty and buttery pistachio with each sip. Would definitely be visiting again when I travel!

Just spent $85 on 5 of these Dubai chocolate strawberry cups and they are half empty. I told the girl behind the counter that they looked empty and she just gave me a blank look. Not worth the price paid for what you are getting. Just want to give everyone a heads up before spending your money on half a cup.

Mokha is always so innovative with their offers for major holidays throughout the year! I was able to surprise the mothers in my family with the Mothers Day bouquet which they LOVED. It was a cute detail that anyone who is looking to gift instead of a boring card or gift card should do!

I love surprising family and friends from out of town sign something from Mokha - they always love it.

Excited to see any new drinks for other holidays this year!

First time checking this place out.

There is a robust item of teas, coffees, and snacks.

I appreciate the atmosphere and decorations.

Purchased the Turkish coffee...it's a bit bitter, but the spices in it cut that down a tad bit. It pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the Medjool Date. Would definitely try this again.

The music is a vibe.

Staff is very helpful and suggestive.

Clean location.

Would definitely recommend.

Mokha truly feels like a delightful slice of home. Stepping inside, you are immediately enveloped in the authentic essence of Yemen, thanks to their exquisite selection of Yemeni teas and coffee. Each sip transports you to a world of rich, aromatic flavors, reminiscent of traditional Yemeni culture. The desserts are another highlight, offering a variety of flavors that are both indulgent and exquisitely prepared. Everything, from the ambience to the delectable treats, makes Mokha a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine taste of Yemeni hospitality and cuisine.

My sister and I took the kids in today to try some new treats and none of us left disappointed. We were a larger group but found the sitting area easily accommodated us. We tried a couple of Turkish coffee, some Caramel Macchiatos, and some Qishr tea along with some pastries and other eats. Service was beautiful and friendly. There are even games to play. Such a lovely new place. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.
