i had the opportunity to take my queen out for breakfast and as we passed by we both said lets try milt's as we walked in the restaurant will impress u clean clean clean the people in there soon as u walk in they greeted us and sat us down and ask if we wanted something to drink mann i love it food was on point the pankcakes ohh man really fluffy and on point as well omlet with the cowboy potatoes super delicious so def a must return thank u milts we will see u soon #BEARLOCSTARR1

HOLIDAY IN THE SUN

Looking for a diner?
Look no further.
It’s the location, especially if you’re on vacation, though the Europeans say “holiday”. Milt’s is conveniently located right off Highway 99 in heart of Bakersfield.

The atmosphere once inside this humble setting is one not to be forgotten.
Most notable, the kindness of a friendly staff. Norman Rockwell and stylistic original murals surround the upper back wall. The music at Milt’s is nothing but good vibes. Paul Simon, Jim Morrison, Lou Reed, The Beatles and The Police all share the air waves here so for all you rockers, this place has got it.

This place is also CLEAN!
Stroll into the restrooms and you will see for yourself. Clean restrooms always dictate a clean kitchen and that offers peace of mind to the patron. The waitresses and cooks are all well kept with hair up and out of the food.

And the food! Anyone hungry for the crispiest french fries in town? The griddled toasted bread, the savory flavor of pastrami, and the milkshakes with the fresh peanut butter!! Are you kidding me?

The food was so good! Just like I remember.
I had the fried chicken dinner, my husband had the chili size (all-meat chili). Our grandchildren had “breakfast for dinner” (kids meals only $6-8). Service was very good.
We will definitely be back!

Went with my wife and kids today And we were able to eat some amazing food and had very very excellent service. The server we had was very personable and extremely kind. The food was clean excellently prepared and very very delicious. Even though the places in a bad area you can't even tell because how clean and well kept they keep the establishment.

This place is amazing! We never knew it was here. They have made from scratch everything. Nothing is packaged or bottled. They have a large menu and very friendly staff. We will definitely be back!
