I absolutely loved this place! The biscuits are GIANT and soft, sausage patty full of flavor and REAL EGGS! Our waitress was so nice and the service was prompt. I had the cafe mocha which is MUCH better than Starbucks!! I really appreciated the Veteran memorials and religious decorations, being a Veteran and Christian myself. We are leaving tomorrow to head back to Texas but not after another breakfast at The Place!

The food was wonderful! Country fried steak was cooked perfectly, with a nice crisp. The portion sizes were huge! Check out the biscuits and gravy pic - the biscuits had a nice crust, with the inside being warm and soft. The French dip was also delicious, and adding the onions and chilies is the way to go!

What a fun place! The food was yummy! The biscuits, gravy and green chile breakfast was big enough to share. The omelete was delicious and the coffee refills never quit. The service from the hostess to the waitresses were all very attentive and friendly.

Unfortunately, we didn't take pixs for the food but it was nicely presented and we enjoyed every bite.

We were headed on a four day roadtrip and came into town around 7am for n across morning. We were pleased to see this place open and if you read my reviews already you know I love to support local when I can. It’s always great for the community. The parking lot is small, but worth waiting. Service was friendly and welcoming the second we came through the door. The place gives off diner vibes down to the eat at bar. We ordered coffee and waters. We were pleased to see boysenberry syrup as an option for pancakes where most places don’t have it. Yum! I ordered a side of biscuit and gravy because I was getting the meat and eggs meal and our waitress stated the full biscuits and gravy came with two and they’re quite large. She was not joking. I also ordered one pancake to try. I was starving ha ha . My brother ordered the Hangry Man Special. Everything came out so fast and it was all so delicious. I could only eat a portion of the biscuit and pancake because it was so much food. I tried my best though. They have three locations total. Two are in Flagstaff and one down in the valley, Glendale to be exact. Pricing was fair for the amount of food and service great. The location was clean. Biggest issue I see would probably be parking.

I'm always excited to try a new non-chain restaurant, especially when it comes to breakfast. This spot looked great from the pictures and reviews, but sadly, ended up lacking when it came to the food. The restaurant itself is well decorated With vintage signs and tchotchkes. It makes for an inviting, laid back feeling. However, it quickly became apparent that the actual restaurant also had a touch of vintage when we sat down. The booth seat padding was all but completely gone. You could feel the wood cross beams underneath as you slid across. Then there were the backrests that were so loose, when the table behind us was seated, the person plopped down and the backrest slammed against me causing me to spill my drink. Not great. And finally, the bathrooms had seen better days. Signs of water damage and shoddy repairs were apparent. But these things were all secondary and I could live with them.

On to the food. Here is where things started to really fall apart. I ordered the Hangry man breakfast which came with 3 eggs, bacon, hash browns and choice of bread. The eggs were almost inedible. I requested scrambled eggs and they came out so massively overcooked and dry that I can only assume they had been sitting on a griddle for a while. The bacon was thick cut and half was undercooked and soggy while the other half was clearly under a heat lamp way too long and completely dried out. The hash browns and toast were decent and seemed fresh.
Maybe this is because I ordered a breakfast item at 12:30 in the afternoon? Whatever the reason, it made for a poor experience.
Will I come back again? I would, just to see if this was a fluke or not. The restaurant was about 80% full and others seemed to be enjoying their food which makes me think I may have been the exception and not the norm.

My husband and I dined here for the first time on Veterans Day. We are both veterans and I was extremely happy to see the veterans day display. The service was great and the food was even better. I would definitely recommend it to others and if I'm ever in the area again, I will make this resturant my first stop.

Huge portions, lots of bang for your buck. I had the French toast short (2 pieces of Texas toast cut in diagonals) with thick cut bacon and eggs. My daughter had the sirloin strips with pancakes, eggs, and country potatoes (cubed & fried). The hot chocolate is really good.

It was Thursday morning, the steak breakfast was spot on, very tender, enough for 2, strawberry shortcakes was very artificial, coffee was watered down alot. Service was quick and prompt.
