Stumbled upon this hole in the wall shop about 5 months ago, and it has been my go-to ever since. The quaint interior does not accurately reflect the bold and rich flavor in their coffee. I am always met with a warm welcome from the barista behind the corner, who I cannot speak highly enough about. Whether you are a New Haven resident looking for your new regular spot, or just swinging through town for a brief event at Yale, this is the right place for you.

Midpoint is one of those cute coffee shops one can find all over. This branch in the heart of the historic district is a nice touch. The couple of times I have been here, I found the coffee to be quite satisfactory. My one regret was in both occasions, I was in a hurry, and had to make my visit a quick in and out. I definitely loved the pastries I had. They hit the spot.

Has this place changed hands? I ordered 4 different coffees/lattes and all of them were so gross we had to dump them down the drain. Like an ash tray was dumped into hot water. Nice couple working there but never again

Super cute coffee shop! I ordered an iced latte -- it was delicious & very high quality. Owner is also friendly and funny, he creates a very welcoming environment. I'll definitely be going back here next time I'm in new haven. I highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this little gem after dropping my daughter off at college. Before getting back on the road I walked in looking for a simple cup of coffee, but I got a lot more than that. After consuming an espresso, 2 lattes and a cheese danish and about an hour of conversation with the owner I finally walked out. He is a pretty cool guy and made my experience in the area great. You will not be disappointed, I highly recommend you go stop in grab a coffee!!!

Charming, cozy coffee shop - they even serve Turkish coffee! The owner is so fun to chat with, and the drinks and pastries are great. I love the vibe inside 🙂

I’m torn, so I’ll go with 3 stars. The coffee was good, albeit expensive ($4.50 for a cortado is on the upper end). I saw they had some churros and ordered 3 to go. The jar had a sign that said $0.75, and assumed that was the price per churro. I was excited. However, I ended up paying $10 + tax for the 3 small churros, which were not particularly good.

Anyways, it was an expensive, $18 dollar coffee run.

The place is small and cute, and the owner is very outgoing and nice. I enjoyed the experience, but not the price tag.
