This was my first time dining here, but I must say it will not be my last! Everything from the immediate attention provided to seat us although they were quit busy, to the attentiveness of our waitress , to the DELICIOUS food prepared exactly as requested was nothing short of excellent! The serving sizes were not sparse and I even cheated by getting a slice of red velvet cake! Might I say it was well worth my cheat day!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking good food and service!

Really good spot to eat whatever plate that u can imagine or like at the moment, super variety of dishes and prices, definitely I'll come again later bc the menu it's super long and the customer service was so good during my pickups order! Good for them 👏

Metro Diner in Atlanta quickly became one of our favorite spots when we come to visit Stone Mountain. The food was fantastic, with generous portions and rich, satisfying flavors. My favorite was the catfish with over-easy eggs — perfectly seasoned and cooked just right.

I was especially happy with the grits. They arrived hot and in a generous portion — unlike other places where they’re often cold and barely enough to enjoy. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and flavorful.

The service was attentive, and the overall experience was wonderful. Metro Diner is definitely a place we’ll return to!

I love this place for their food(Ribs) , quesadillas and Paninis. Today I had a watermelon margarita w/patron and it was on the Money! Besides service and food the main reason I keep returning is cause it reminds me of Philly. We have tons of Diners in the city and this makes me feel close to home. Still eating our Valentine's dinner here, which is great! But our waitress, Catie, has been more than fantastic to us. I would genuinely return for her alone. I feel so accomodated and welcomed by her. ♡

Great food and service! Had the Roasted vegetable salad which was amazing. Their dessert selection is great as well. Very clean dining area and restrooms.

I’ve lived in Stone Mountain all my life. I have frequented the Metro Diner since they opened, and even the diners’ that were before it. Food has always been good and service has been great. Until today.

We arrived at the restaurant at 10:30pm knowing it was closing soon at 11pm. We asked when we came in if it was ok and the waitress said yes but another lady made a snarky look and said something under her breath. A simple, the kitchens closed would have sufficed. But the waitress gave us menus and sat us.

We ordered immediately upon sitting down. And got our food basically within ten minutes. The food and the waitress were great.

However, the larger snarky lady in the floral shirt with the slicked back bun made several loud, passive aggressive comments to her staff while we were eating obviously directed at us. She was incredibly rude.

Again… a simple, the kitchen is closed would have been fine. But if you seat us, feed us, and we paid and departed by 10:55pm then all that negativity needs to be directed elsewhere. We took a photo showing we were out by “the close of business”.

If you hate your job and life that much, then do something else…. Or at least learn to communicate effectively. Do better.

First off, the service here is phenomenal! We have come here three times now and each time the server has been absolutely amazing. We've only ordered breakfast and it comes out quickly and piping hot. Everything is so fresh and the coffee is delicious.
