An upscale casual dinning located right off the main road of Newtown. The outdoor dining is a well constructed fully covered porch that looks like it will be so lovely on summer nights. We dined indoors because it’s winter. Their menu is well curated and I think where they really shine is the drinks and appetizers. I loved the hot cider and the cranberry winter drink. The artichoke pesto flatbread is crispy and flavorful and perfect to share. I want to try the wings next time they looked perfect to share between two people when the table next to us ordered them. This place is great for group or small dining they have a larger main room or more intimate side rooms. I can’t wait to try them again it’s wonderful to have non chain restaurant like Beechmont is full of. It’s locally owned and operated. It’s lovely to have this cute place in the neighborhood.

I was super disappointed when Urban Grill on Main went out of business. For many years it was a staple of spring and fall soccer seasons, with its convenient location near one of the area's largest soccer parks. Fortunately, the space has recently reopened as Mercer Social House and many of the same things we love about the former restaurant continue to be true with the new ownership. We have already been a couple of times and have sampled the brunch and regular lunch/dinner menus.

An early favorite on the menu for me is the fried spicy chicken sandwich topped with sriracha aioli, cabbage slaw, and cherry pepper ($15.45). This is served with Saratoga chips or you can substitute fries for $1.25. The spicy on this sandwich is no joke and the cherry peppers really sealed the deal for me on this one, such a great flavor from those. The fries were alright, but next time I think I'll try the Saratoga chips.

On the brunch menu, I selected the Monte Cristo with French toasted brioche, tasso ham, Swiss cheese, provolone, and dijonnaise all deep-fried and served with raspberry compote ($19.95). This was a large and very filling sandwich. I must admit one of the best Monte Cristo's I think I've had. The outside was crispy fried, but the inside was soft and had a really nice combination of flavors. Overall the food has been good, the service great, and the atmosphere perfect. Spring soccer season is just around the corner so I'll soon be back more often!

Loved the eclectic atmosphere. They know how to cook an amazing burger... then top it with luxury!! I had the BBJ burger on a gluten-free bun... Wow, who knew bacon jam, caramelized
onions, and boursin were such a scrumptious combination. I'm in heaven. Had a great hot bourbon apple cider as well which was delightful. My family had wings and the ribs, apparently they have a smokehouse that knows how to add the right amount of smoke with tenderness. Service was excellent from Erin, reasonable priced for quality food, and very clean restrooms. I do have a MAJOR COMPLAINT, you are too far from my house, can you open a location in KY?

This place has become a family favorite for us. We are always well taken care of by the incredibly friendly and fun staff. They are all so lovely and hospitable and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere has a great vibe, especially the outdoor Pavilion. The food is consistently delicious - my son swears they have the best burger in town! The wine selection is fantastic, and Erin makes a yummy espresso martini. We love supporting this local restaurant and highly recommend!

I came here with my mother and grandmother. We were greeted by staff and they were very kind and freindly. The staff went out of their way to make accommodations for my wheelchair bound grandmaw when we asked to sit in the outdoor area. Their patio and open air eating area are wonderful and the perfect place to eat on nice days.
Food took a while to come out but when it did, it was fabulous!
