Spent 2 nights while working in the area. Nice and quiet 3rd week in March. Television stations were limited but WiFi was sufficient for streaming.

Absolutely outstanding stay! Our suite was roomy and comfortable, with every amenity. The bed was very comfortable, towels were very fluffy, even little touches like the coffee was premeasured and in filters ready to use! Decor was attractive and tasteful, and the whole ambience was a feeling of personal attention, unlike a big hotel chain "slickness". We were on second floor, so had the use of a cute little glass elevator---another nice touch. There were porches, verandas and patios all around, with rocking chairs, and numerous little cozy conversational areas with board games. There also were a pool and pool table. We are looking forward to another visit next month! The area around the resort is beautiful. Hostess/ owner, Denni, was most welcoming and anxious to ensure our stay was good---and it truly was!

Wow!!! My mother and I stayed there to attend an appt she had there in Mena. This place was a GEM of a find! The rooms were huge and the beds were incredible. The hospitality of the owner/manager was outstanding too! Breakfast was great and the place was so clean, I actually wanted to stay longer!! Will be back again and just to hang out there and relax!! Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful resort. We had rooms 12 and 14 for the record! HUGE!!!!

My Dad and I picked the Mena Mountain Resort to stay in when we came down to ride motorcycles on the Talimena Drive and around the Mena area. We were very pleased with how nice and spacious the double queen room was. Probably the largest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Everything from the rooms, to the pool area, to the lobby/dining room areas were very, very nicely furnished and clean. Lou and Denny were very friendly and we really enjoyed talking to Denny at breakfast. When we come back to Mena we will be staying here again for sure!

My grandma passed away on 8/5/24 so my wife, 3 small kids and my mom left to go to Mena, AR on 8/6 and we’re trying to book our normal hotel we stay in when we come here but they were booked so we called the mena mountain resort and reserved a room. We arrive and the guy working the desk gives us room 8 and tells us “it’s a maximum of 4 guests” so I explain to him that two of us can go stay at my aunts and he proceeds to give us the key to room 8. We go up to look at it and unlock the door as some guy runs to the door “hello? Hello? I’m in this room” as a dude wearing a towel opens the door and explains he’s in room 8. So my mom goes back down to get room 13s key, as she’s getting the key he says the door is open so we go in. The room was extremely hot, humid and smelled of mold. It felt as if the heat was on 90 all day and it was 110 degrees outside. Then my mom comes up saying he said we need to book two rooms which was outside of our budget so we told the guy we were just checking out the room and we were about to leave to go to the store and then split off but he didn’t care, he just wanted more money from a grieving family of a 6 year old, 10 year old, 12 year old, husband, wife and mom here visiting family due to a death in the family. The extremely hot room and giving us the wrong room already had us leery about staying there because what’s to say he doesn’t give our key out to another guest checking in. Regardless, we found a house for rent 10 minutes down the road that housed 6 for $30 more and was much nicer, bigger, comfortable, had our own parking area, yard, kitchen, etc etc. the mena mountain inn has rooms all connected to a central living area and you have to see the grump working the front desk each time you leave or come back. The pool table was covered and the atmosphere was very uptight. I could not imagine this visit at mena mountain inn being anything more than a sauna filled room watching the door to make sure nobody walks in while none of the amenities are accessible. I will never go to mena mountain inn even if they paid me to visit.

It's more of a B&B without the fancy breakfast. The resort has a very eclectic decor, such as pool tables on the 2nd floor to area rugs and recliners in the rooms. This is not a Holiday Inn Express; which is a good thing. We will definitely be back!

I feel very blessed to have discovered this hidden gem in Mena. I came up with a car club and was treated like family. The atmosphere made me feel right at home. Denny even got up early on our check out day just to make sure we had coffee for our departure. I also come up annually with my motorcycle group and normally stay at different cities as we ride around Arkansas. Now after finding this wonderful place, I have spoken with the motorcycle group and we will now spend our entire trip at the Mena Resort and do day trips returning each day. Again, can't say enough about the wonderful time we had and being treated like family is such a blessing when traveling. Thanks to Denny and her husband for welcoming us.
