A different place for sure but in a good way (very hippie, peace and love feel to it, but also clean and modern). I can see why they were voted best pizza in Oconee area. But I would bet everything they serve is good.

Amazing the place has serviced the public for 50yrs. That's not an easy thing to do, the amount of care and innovation they exhibit is why they are still a top notch place to eat even after so many years in the business.

Our lunch today was amazing! We were seated immediately. My son's girlfriend got the gluten free pizza. I didn't eat bread so I had the Holy Shiitake Pie as a pizza bowl. It was perfect. One of my sons got the meat pizza. The other one got the buffalo chicken pizza. Everyone loved their food. Service was fantastic. Aprilbrumm dot com

Walked in and put my name on the wait list. No one else on the list except myself. A party of 3 walked in waited a couple minutes, and we're seated. A few minutes later a couple walked in, and we're seated. I asked that my name be removed from the list. I explained why to the young lady at the register.
She apologized,and offered to seat us at a table that had been empty since we'd arrived. We declined and went to The Iron fork, and were promptly seated.

I do not hardly ever get upset at the service I receive at restaurants. I realize that the employees have a difficult enough job to do without people being petty about unnecessary things. However I cannot tolerate being disrespected like I was last night. My wife, and I were there with no one above us on the list to be seated. The hostess said it would be about 10 minutes to clean some tables. No problem there at all. After the time limit expired there were two parties that came in. One with three people, and a couple. They were seated immediately while I stood there. I do not see any room for error on the hostess' part.
I come from an era where one did his/her job correctly, or else you received a disciplinary action. It sounds as if the hostess was asked to explain, and any answer given was acceptable.
All customers are worth money. A satisfied customer is a gold mine.

Wouldn't know how the food was. We waited after being placed in a waiting list that no one else was on at the time. 2 separate sets of couples came in after us, spoke to the same girl that put us on the wait list, and were seated immediately. Was it because my husband had just gotten off of a long work day and was still in his work clothes? Did the hostess know the other couples? It all felt very judgy and was very unappreciated so we took our money to another local restaurant where we were treated very well.

Just ate here for the last time tonight. Service was horrendous, the entire restaurant was smokey from seemingly burnt food in the kitchen, and our order was incorrect not once but twice. It took 1 hr and 40 min to receive all parts of our order. The appetizer we ordered took the full 1hr and 40 min to come out correctly (it was previously incorrect twice). We were a party of 2 people, for reference. The salads were bland and the service from the servers to the kitchen was horrible. Had to ask for the check twice and our drinks were never refilled despite also asking. It was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time. If you’re craving pizza, don’t come here. Go literally anywhere else.

Food and service was good, and the place clean, but I wasn't as satisfied with the pizza I ate as I have been with others, so I deducted a star. However, the waitress did a great job at keeping our orders right.

Good pizza. There’s a girl with blue hair that works at the front who looks exactly like Mira Sorvino from her Replacement Killer movie era. This has no effect on the pizza, just couldn’t stop thinking about how much she looked liked her. They could be sisters.

The pizza was good, could've used a like more sauce and Italian seasoning but it worked. Great service on a cold and snowy day in GA.
