We had the BEST stay here. The breakfasts were incredible. My husband is vegan, and I am vegetarian. Eric and Melissa went above and beyond to make sure we had delicious options and a filling breakfast each day. Our room was beautiful and bed comfortable (we stayed in the Huntingdon). The inn is filled with beautiful antiques and unique pieces. There are so many quiet places to sit and read or relax. The pool was too cold for use when we were there, but it looked lovely. It is also just a few blocks from Forsyth park and an easy walk to everything else downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and look forward to coming again!

Our Stay at McMillan Inn was wonderful. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques and a historical feel and design, offering a beautiful, warm, and inviting first impression. Our queen bed was so comfortable and the fireplace in March was so cosy and inviting. We commented several times that we could happily live in our room. One of the highlights of McMillan Inn was the delicious homemade breakfasts each morning. Melissa, the most delightful Inn owner and talented chef, curated the breakfasts based on her grandmother's and husbands grandmothers recipes. Each day of our four-day stay was a new decadent and delicious breakfast. I would have to say the peach cobbler was my favourite but each sweet and savory daily offering was as yummy as the last! Melissa even has a cookbook coming out! Melissa's husband Eric and son Josh and the many other wonderful staff members added to the stay making us feel like we were right at home. We couldn't have loved the Inn experience more than we did and will be back next time we visit Savannah from California. My sister and I spent four days at the beautiful McMillan Inn. Our room was well appointed with a fireplace, four poster bed, and many charming antiques. To say that the breakfast at McMillan Inn was delicious is an understatement! Every morning we looked forward to a very well presented and sumptuous breakfast.Now we must tell you about Melissa and Eric the proprietors. We felt like we were visiting family. They were gracious, caring , and very helpful with hints to make getting around Savannah optimal. Eric even drew us a map to help us with directions to get us on the right road for our trip back home. If you are traveling to Savannah, staying at the Mc Millan Inn will make your stay memorable as it did ours.

I selected McMillan Inn based on the reviews. Best choice I ever made. Most hotels are just a place to sleep. Staying at McMillan Inn was an amazing experience. Walking into the inn feels like stepping back into an elegant Victorian era, authentic, beautiful, and thoughtfully adorned. The Calhoun Square was spacious, clean, comfortable and even had heated tile floors in the bathroom. The bed and linens were both cozy and comfy. “Breakfast included” understates the variety, quantity and quality of down-home southern cooking. My personal favorites - the coffee and peach cobbler served on elegant dishes, chatting with Melissa and Eric (the owners), in a charming dining room open to the parlor. Ann, the house manager, helped with our late arrival, parking, and going out to dinner via the “downtowner”. I could go on and on but I don’t want to ruin your surprise and delight.

My husband and I so enjoyed two nights at the McMillan Inn in Savannah. The inn itself is beautiful and very spacious. Our room had thoughtful touches and we, a couple in our 70’s, loved that we could enter and leave the inn without having to use any stairs.

Yet, I saved the best for last: the inn keepers and the food.
Eric and Melissa are the friendliest, warmest, BEST inn owners we have ever met -and we have stayed at dozens of inns and bed and breakfasts over the years. They genuinely want their guests to feel like their home is their guests’ home and they are available to help make their guests stay enjoyable in any way they can.

Finally, the food is incredible!! Eric and Melissa make delicious breakfasts including fruit, savory and sweet items. Additionally, they provide yummy sweets and peach ice tea throughout the day. We are already planning our next stay at McMillan Inn during our next stay in Savannah!

To Eric and Melissa and family, our 2 night stay was lovely. Thank you for information to highlight tour ideas, riding the free DOT BUS to the river, and wonderful history of how your B&B HOME came to be such a beautiful historic place to stay. We are honoured to give it a 10+ for the comfortable room with fireplace and shower on the bottom floor, delicious breakfasts and we enjoyed our wine with your cake to use the swing on the porch. Highly recommend this visit to Savannah to experience hospitality at its finest. Ask to see Melissa’s cookie jar collection!!🍷🍷

My girlfriend and I stayed here last night for our anniversary. This was a great experience from start to finish. The hospitality is top notch. They really make you feel like family and the breakfast is sensational! We had egg casserole, hash browns, and the best peach cobbler I have ever had! Would highly recommend staying here! They even allowed me to come early and drop off some gifts for my girlfriend and they placed them in the room so she saw them when we entered. Will be back one day!

Eric and Melissa are such genuine, down to earth people. Amazing hosts who warmly welcome their guests into their exquisite, Antebellum B&B. From the impeccable cleanliness to the generous and absolutely delicious breakfasts that they offer which, incredibly, was some of our favorite food during our visit to Savannah. A very sincere thank you to them, with so much gratitude- can't wait to return.
