The cabin is amazing and the staff was very friendly. Any time we needed anything they were more then willing to help out. We also got plenty of privacy so that wasn't a problem either. The rooms were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with plates pans and such. The setting was beautiful and there are so many things to see and do that in one weekend we couldn't get to them all. I am for sure going to stay here again.

We came for two nights to hike the McKenzie River Trail. The hotel was quiet, clean, and we loved it. The bed was sooo comfy, and the pillows were 'real', not those fluffy things you get in city hotels. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the trails, willing to offer hiking/biking/eating, whatever advice. There is no breakfast on site, which is the only thing I can think of that would have made our stay nicer. Thanks, Chris, for your knowledge and guidance before our hike! The other gal we spoke to (sorry, can't remember your name) was so sweet, and I enjoyed our conversation. We'd love to come back, stay a few more days and do the things we didn't do this trip! If you're looking for a comfy stay, this is a great place! Within 5 miles of restaurant and gas, but feels like you are in the middle of nowhere ... so quiet.

I rented a cabin for 4 days for my grandma who is 89 , my dad and his girlfriend . They had a wonderful time . Very peaceful , super Clean , very spacious. It had 2 bedrooms with huge beds and a 3rd bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds so plenty of room for everyone . Tina was our host and she was always available and very helpful for anything we needed . She went out of her way to make sure my family was Happy and comfortable. She made them feel right at home . Thank you Tina

Was here from Friday the 15th until check out today and it was so amazing. Beautiful place. Plenty of beds. I used the bottom half of a bunk bed and it was way more comfortable than I would have thought. We had planned to do some sight seeing and what not but it was so relaxing at the cabin that we just stayed in all weekend. Our cabin had a full kitchen with pots and pans and other kitchen wear so we didn't have to worry about that. I definitely plan on another vacation there soon!

Our stay here was fantastic! Tina helped get us checked in and showed us around. The cabin we stayed in was very spacious and clean. It is in a very quiet area and very close to the Proxy Falls Trailhead which is a beautiful hike nearby. If we are in the area we will definitely be coming back here!

Absolutely beautiful, accommodation were fantastic! Cabins are large rooms are comfortable, the bunk rooms were really cool and great for our large group. The river was easy to walk down to and the area was simply wonderful, I can't wait to go back!!

A group of four stayed in the Historic Ranger Cabin for three nights in mid February. After seeing the outside I was a little concerned what we might find inside but I was very pleasantly surprised. This place is old, and a tad quirky, but it was incredibly clean from top to bottom. There is a full kitchen, nice living room with a dining table, a small area off the kitchen referred to as the "tea room" from which you can see the Blue River, a full bathroom with tub/shower and a "bedroom" with a king size bed. The "bedroom" is not actually a separate room but has curtains which separate it from the living room. There is a fireplace (wood available on the front porch) and flat screen television but you will not be able to pick up the resorts internet here. Up the narrow steep, stairs you'll find a queen bed and two twins. There are no doors to either room but a closet separating the queen/twins provides some form of privacy. There is no bathroom upstairs so make sure you have some form of light with you when attempting to use the facilities at 3:00 am! The heating in this cabin works VERY well...we were never cold. We were at MRMR for a 4 day crafting event and spent the bulk of our time in a large conference type room which was perfect for our purposes. This is a family run establishment and the people who answer the phones are the same ones that run the place. They pretty much do everything around there. It is not uncommon to find the "lobby" unstaffed however, they post a phone number so you can just call and one of the staff will show up within minutes. I was impressed with the strength and speed of the internet in the conference room seeing as this place is in the middle of the forest! We plan to return in May and will stay in one of the motel units this time. If it's as clean as the cabin, I will have no complaints whatsoever.

The shuttle service provided for mountain biking the McKenzie River Trail was very good. The confirmation and directions were very nice and got me to the right place at the right time. Google map the details ahead of time as the cell reception is spotty even with the best carriers. The van needed a little service but their new van was in the shop. All passengers were dropped at their requested locations and given some interesting, local knowledge of the area. This experience was more than riding an epic trail and the conversation with the driver helped broaden my awareness and enhance the overall experience. Bottom line - I would do it again!
