This is directed to the cedar ridge restaurant. Over the years I have brought my elderly mom to the casino to have dinner during Christmas or Thanksgiving and it has been relatively a good experience. Just this Thanksgiving of 2024 I was completely taken aback by the presentation of the buffet. In the past they have always had somebody to carve the turkey or the ham or any other types of meat that we have had the opportunity to have the buffet. This time however for Thanksgiving we were greeted with a steam table and simple entrees with not very many vegetable choices. It was either green beans or no vegetables other than you would say potatoes which were more liking to plaster of Paris. For the cost per plate of $32 for a buffet I would more. Also, since my mother is an elderly lady, she does not eat a very much but when I had asked to have a box to put the leftovers so when my mother could eat at her place of residence I was told that they do not supply take away boxes anymore. Even though I have paid for that plate and there was food left there that my mom could have eaten later I was not given the opportunity to take what I paid for with me. In the past it used to be that you could have a takeaway box and there was more variety in the dishes that they serve. I am very disappointed and it seems as though the casino has decided to take the low road of cutting quality and the amount of product. I will not be bringing my mom or passing out word to anybody else regarding the cedar ridge restaurant. It has definitely gone down the tubes.

The casino itself was dark, extremely smoky and very disgusting. The one dining room they had was extremely outdated and dingy. They will not let you bring your own outside alcohol even to your own room. They are very adamant about that. I reserved the presidential suite to have a nice party with a group of friends and we couldn't bring our own drinks upstairs. Even if it was sealed in bottles. This is wrong! 👎

I’m a AZ native and I tried Cedar Ridge Restaurant for lunch today for the first time. The prices are pretty amazing with big portions and the food was fresh. Iced tea was fresh I had 5 refills through my lunch! $26 for two, you can’t beat! New spot for when we are in town.

We come here one to two times a week and eat. They have an amazing buffet, specials and great food. We bring our family for family fun night. We are excited to go to the concerts this week. I highly recommend this spot! Also my husband is a truck driver and we are able to park here. Thanks!

I stay here often every few years when I need to get away.
It is nice to have at the front desk "Debbie" who remembered me from my last stay. There is a reason why she is at the desk for incoming guest. She is just beautiful in everything she does.

So is Kayla in the restaurant and many others. This is a great place to eat and all the servers are polite and have time to smile.

Other casinos I have been to offer free drinks if you are playing the games, but not this one, apparently.
The smoking throughout the downstairs is not good in my opinion.
I thought the food was pretty good in general. Although my house red wine at dinner was undrinkable, as it had turned. Probably not an ongoing issue.
The hotel itself is nice enough and has a cozy vibe.

The staff and service were excellent. The prices in the restaurant were really good. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Just did the casino and its not worth it to me. It reeks everywhere of cigarettes.
Played at $1.50 per bet and the machine went more than 12 spins before finally giving a payout, it gave me back 15 CENTS. And nobody elses machines were hitting.
I left and my brand new jacket smelled like cigarette smoke.
