It was a truly comfortable stay at this hotel. My fiancé and I had a wonderful time, and we were so happy we could bring our little dog along. The hotel staff was generally incredibly welcoming. However, there was one instance when we called the front desk for assistance, and unfortunately, the male staff member on shift was quite rude. Aside from that, we had a great experience. We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy room, taking walks around the hotel grounds, and spending quality time together as a family. It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon!

This was the worst experience I have ever had staying in a motel. Bar none! I selected it based on good reviews on TripAdvisor. I should’ve read further to July 2024. That person stayed in the same motel I did! No lobby. Unfriendly person spoke to me over speaker while I huddled in this tiny room and passed my credentials through a metal drawer. Just like a prison in the movies! The whole vibe was creepy - throughout the property. A damaged car with blacked out windows followed me slowly around as I searched for a place near my room to park. The flooring was buckling and coming unglued. I tripped on it more than once. The bathroom looked like it had been built out of pieces scavenged from a junkyard. There was a tub - rusted and chipped with no faucet. There was a damaged shower head with no obvious way to turn on any water. The sink was in similar condition with just a trickle of lukewarm water after it ran for 10 minutes. |I do not exaggerate. I do not bother to leave reviews normally. But this place was beyond belief.

Total bait & switch. Saw deal on Big sign on front of hotel Sunday - Wednesday for $165 when I took my sister to Emory Ortho a couple of weeks ago. Had to be in town nearby for business this week Monday -Wednesday (live in the mountains )so tried to book the deal. No where to be found online. Paid considerably more but right after I checked in Sunday night, saw the sign again. Went right back in the office--2 minutes tops--and told they couldn't honor it because I'd been checked in for more than 15 minutes but if I came back, they'd at least call management to see if they could honor it. Went to my NON-SMOKING room...that reeked of cigarette smoke. Back to the desk---or "bankers" window as lobby locked-- and told no go on the deal (still under 15 minutes and I ended up paying almost $300 instead) and not responsible if somebody smoked in my NON-SMOKING room...and refused to give me another room. Room weirdly and progressively more smoky smelling throughout the night so had to get plug in deodorizers the next day to even barely tolerate it....although, to be fair, room was otherwise clean and bed very comfortable ( I did check for bed bugs after reading other reviews once i was here which I've never not done before booking and never will again).
Many of the other guests very sketchy. Definitely not a place to bring your kids and although I'm a woman, wouldn't recommend this place to any other women traveling alone. Should have just braved the traffic and driven back and forth every day!

You get a clean, comfortable simple room for a good price. You have to rent a fridge and microwave, but it’s only $5/day and they bring them to your room within minutes of checking in. There heating/air conditioning unit was the only downside, the thermostat was way off and it would get uncomfortably hot if you turned it above 68 degrees, but it was 35 degrees outside during my stay, so I really can’t be upset about being too warm.

The one bedroom feels much more comfortable. I believe because they are not as used just by my speculation. Masters Inn is the more cleanist of hotels that I've been in on the part of Lawrenceville highway from where tucker starts at the 285 to where Jimmy Carter and mountain industrial crosses. It's very easy to get to most places I need to like Walmart in tucker or Kroger in Decatur by bus. Cheap enough for an Uber to places near by like fork n the road if I don't wanna catch the bus. Showers are clean and towels. Does not look run down. I enjoy the comfort of the one bedroom better than the two bedroom. Multiple outlets for your devices to charge including two normal socket outlets on each side of the bed head and as well as usb-a and usb-c ports
