Café in the Renaissance Hotel Downtown Phoenix, had breakfast here the first morning we were in town, wasn't expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. Food was all cooked perfectly and while a little more expensive than you would pay at a similar restaurant outside of a hotel it was not really too bad. About $60.00 with tax and tip for 3.

I ordered the Sonora omelette that was described as containing chorizo. There was no spice to it at all. When I mentioned this to the server she replied that she was vegetarian and didn't know Then another server piped in stating that chorizo is not spicy. I live in Phoenix and have had plenty of chorizo, it has always been spicy. It is sad that this tainted my stay at a nice hotel.
