Stayed at The Cottage recently and it was wonderful! The surrounding area was just gorgeous with the trees changing colors and it was blissfully quiet (for the most part). The covered porch worked nicely for sitting outside when it was sprinkling. Everything was incredibly clean and the little niceties - strategically placed nightlights, the dog leash out front, 2 coffeemakers and wifi in the cabin! - were much appreciated. The beds are comfortable and The Cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable, cozy stay.

John was super helpful and quick to respond, thank you so much! Highly recommend Marsh Hollow for a perfect vacation spot.

This is an update. We stayed again the first weekend in May and I thought on and off about leaving a review but finally decided to because honestly I'm tired of lower standards and higher prices.
Upon arriving for our stay the hot tub was full of debris and was actually almost below the jets with water. My husband spent an hour cleaning it and adding some water so it was safe to operate. Unfortunately I ended up with a very nasty infection and will never trust this company with something like this again.
The grill was malfunctioning and my husband thought it was the propane so he exchanged cylinders and was still having issues so he messed with the burners and was able to finally after a few hours get it to heat up so we could cook our dinner even though I hade already fried some burgers on the stove top.
Not sure if the owners have a dog that runs loose but there was a dog that kept coming to visit. It was friendly and very sweet but my fur babies don't like other dogs so I had to be on my toes when this dog came around to keep mine up.
I went the second day to cook some veggies and taters in the oven and was very disappointed by how filthy the inside of the oven was. Picture below. Not only does this ruin the flavor of your food its also a fire hazard. We boiled our veggies and taters.
Upon leaving I ran out of TP and went to find some and found spare towels being stored next to the plunger and toilet cleaner brush and was very disgusted. I have included a picture of this.
I also included a picture of the very sweet dog so maybe someone can let the owners know that this is pet friendly rental.
We definitely won't be back. It's a shame because we enjoyed it so much the first time and the yard is perfect for our pups.

We all loved our stay at Pinewood cabin! The dogs had a blast!
Everything we needed was at the cabin. We lost electricity once but the generator kicked right in! We can't wait to return for a winter ❄️ stay.

The stay was at Marsh Hollow Cottage for 3 nights. As with most things, there were positives & negatives. There was very low water pressure the 2nd night, flat pillows, the Keurig & the pans could use a replacement, & one of the toilets ran. However, even with those issues, the stay was super nice. Loved the location of the cottage, convenient to attractions including Hocking Hills State Park, Logan Lake/Beach, & Walmart. The layout of the cottage is excellent. It was spacious & clean. It was wonderful to being able to bring my dog, having the gas grill, fire pit, hot tub, & the created fairy hiking trail between the properties. Thank You!

My husband and I, and our dogs, stayed at Pinewood Cabin of the Marsh Hollow Cabins, and it was just perfect! The cabin was nice, cozy and very clean. When we first entered the cabin, we were greeted by light jazz music that was playing. This cabin is so lovely with its log walls and a big picture window that frames a beautiful view of the property. A part of that view is a nice tree which has a bird feeder hanging from it, to the birds’ delight. We enjoyed seeing lots of Chickadees, some Tufted Titmouse and Nuthatches, to mention a few. The large porch is a beautiful place to hang out. There is a huge open yard where our dogs could run, and wonderful long paths to hike, in the woods on the hillside! Walking along the road by the cabin was also beautiful because of the fall foliage. Then in the evening we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit, (wood provided) as well as some time relaxing in the hot tub. There were nice robes that we used to stay warm when getting out of the hot tub, as the evenings were quite brisk. The horses next door looked beautiful out grazing in their field. Yes, everything was just delightful. And we had perfect weather too! I highly recommend any of the Marsh Hollow Cabins! We look forward to going back!

We just spent 7 days in Hocking Hills staying in "The Cottage", one of the Marsh Hollow properties. We have stayed in several different cabins in Hocking Hills, and this was one of the best. People staying were myself, my husband, and two toddlers. The cabin was spacious, with a full size fridge and oven. There was also a bathtub, which was a plus with small kids. It was clean and had almost everything we needed. Lots of clean towels, lots of TP and paper towels, and the basics for cooking. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of room in general. A huge plus for us was the small creek and hill that our kids could roll toy trucks into and play on without fear of traffic. It was also easy to get to (I drive a Mazda 3) without fear of ruining a smaller car. John (property manager) was easy to work with. I would recommend this cottage and would stay here again.

This was a very relaxing weekend. We stayed in the Pinewood Cabin and were able to get away for a couple days and unwind. The cabins and cottages are pet friendly, so it was great that we didn't have to board our pets. It was a small $30 fee for the dogs. The cabin was clean and offered a nice area for the dogs to run, play and sniff. The dogs enjoyed the creek area and our small dog enjoyed barking at the deer and squirrels. There is ample ground to explore / hike, but Hocking Hills is not too far away either. The only draw backs were spotty wi-fi (they mentioned this) and window A/C Units. I wish it had central air. Other than that - it was awesome. We were able to cook our meals and enjoy them on the huge deck.

We spent 3 days at Pinewood Cabin so we would be close to Hocking Hills. This was perfect, it was about a 15 minute, very scenic drive to the various trails. The cabin was so nice, it was clean, relaxing and had everything we needed. Be sure to take the hike on the Marsh Hollow property if you have kids with you. Our 5 year old grandson, Holden thought it was the best hike of all those we took. He loved finding and following the pink dots on the trees. Our golden retriever, Lexi was worn out each night after hiking, running through the creek and chasing balls and the frisbee all over the huge yard. Beside the nightly campfires, reading on the porch early in the mornings was my favorite peaceful time.
