Booked this instead of staying in Downtown Savannah, it was nice seeing the city by day and enjoying the properties amenities in the evenings.||Our two bedroom unit was absolutely huge. Not only did the guest bedroom (two queens in our set up) have a second bathroom, there was also a walk in closet with a second sink. The master bedroom had a king sized bed and a large bathroom with two sinks. There was a large dining room table, plus a breakfast bar in the kitchen and lots of seating in the living room as well as a balcony. The kitchen had Modern appliances and every thing we needed for cooking. There was also a large washer and dryer and plenty of detergent to use.||The pool had a waterslide (it was too cold for us to use the pool but it looks like it's open year round) and we enjoyed playing Foosball, they also had corn hole and ping pong and probably other games we missed. ||This was a great property, we'd love to return when we have more time and the weather is warmer.

Extremely disappointing! We prefer the Marriott Oceanwatch in Myrtle over this one (despite how much we enjoy Hh over Myrtle!) The activities were not catered towards families/children. We tried to show up to one of the very few kids activities and the activities director told us they packed up and left if no one arrived within the first 15 minutes (the activity was supposed to last for 75 minutes!!) I requested a high floor before check in and was put on 1st floor. Front desk told me that was the only room they had available…even tho it was Feb and it wasn’t crowded. |We experienced a lot of noise. There were people playing shuffleboard until after 11pm. I had to contact the front desk. Could also hear everything from room above. Also, my daughter was running a fever of 104 on the morning of checkout so I requested a late checkout, at least until it went down. I was told no. Nothing more, just no. Pool was supposed to be heated but not very warm. Rooms were nice but not very clean. We had a urine stain on our comforter. Would 100% choose the local Hilton, Westin, or Sonesta over this one!!!

My family loved the stay and we will be returning! The hotel was very clean. All of the staff I dealt with was incredibly nice. The room was cheap because I booked months in advance I was so pleased with the quality for the money. Amazing pool area for the kids that is heated so they were outside playing even though it was less than 60 degrees out. The front desk manager was so kind that she sent us a complementary bottle of wine to our room. The restaurant on site wasn’t too bad either, certainly nothing too impressive but I didn’t have to leave to go get food which I did like. There’s gas stations within 3 minutes from the hotel so you can get any goodies you may need easily. Loved the site, loved the staff, loved the quality for the money, and we had a great time. Shoutout to Taylor Knudsen the front desk manager for the hand written letter and wine, making my family feel so welcome and grateful on top of all the other amazing staff that helped us with whatever we needed. Keep up the great work guys 🙂

After having several not great experiences the last few times we used our MVC, Barony Beach absolutely renewed our faith! We could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. ||We came down for our school vacation week with our 8 and 6 year old and my 71 year old mother. It was the off season so definitely quieter and the weather while cold only rained one day. The activities team was amazing from start to finish and had something for every age group. Mercedes and Joey made it a point to try and get to know each guest and had such a wonderful energy each day. Everyone found several things they wanted to do each day. From Bingo to crafts and games and cookies and smores and the indoor pool. Our kids never complained they were bored. The rum tasting was so well done for adults, but my kids favorite was the raptors experience! The woman brought several owls and birds and the kids learned all about them while seeing them up close. They could not stop talking about it and she was wonderful with all the kids there. ||Everything we had at the restaurant y’all’s was fantastic. Todd was amazing and provided such great recommendations and experience each time we went in. Drinks were great and made fun non alcoholic drinks for the kids. ||We have stayed at MVC pretty much exclusively on vacations and this is the first resort every single person we came across from check in to activity and service was fantastic. We can not say enough great things about the staff at this resort. ||Rooms were clean and we heard very minimal noise from construction. They were great at communicating exactly where and when that would be happening so you can plan and none was happening before 9:30. ||Hilton Head is beautiful with fantastic walking and biking trails. We would absolutely return to the island and resort!

It's a hard review for me because the villas were absolutely beautiful and seemingly very new. So spacious and clean, very nice! However, it wasn't clear anywhere that was visibly obvious on their website that their garden view rooms were actually completely across the street. We hoped to book a beachfront room, but they were sold out, so we figured a garden view would be fine and we would just walk out to the beach. But we were essentially in a whole different hotel almost. Also, we learned that despite this being a "beach" hotel - the property didn't supply chairs for the beach, or even towels for the pool. You had to bring towels from your room, and people were bringing their own chairs to the beach. Staff at check in both had training stickers on and didn't even welcome us with a hello, then couldn't initially find our reservation. That was fine, but none of the staff we encountered the whole trip really were friendly or hospitable to be honest. Bottom line is I think if you're coming to the area for golf and can get a beach front room at this beach property, you'll find it enjoyable. Again, the villas themselves were beautiful. But this was not what we expected or hoped for, essentially making this a waste of money for us overall.

It was a nice visit. Rooms were really nice, big, clean and comfortable!!! The area was really quiet. Beautiful scenery outside and grounds are kept really clean!! If you want spa treatment book ahead before you get there.

Wonderful experience! Front desk staff is friendly and were able to accommodate an early check in. Rooms are decorated beautifully and do not give off your typical “hotel vibe”. It felt like we were staying at our own unique beach condo. Our villa was cleaned by Marletta, who did an amazing job! I’m normally skeeved out by at least one thing when staying away from home but not this time. I can confidently say this was the nicest, cleanest place I’ve ever stayed, even the drawers in the kitchen were meticulously organized. The grounds are beautiful with lots to see and do and very well maintained. Location is wonderful, our villa overlooked the pool but we were only a short walk to the beach. I am 110 percent happy we decided to book here and I know we will be back in the future!
