I’ve been to countless plays at the Marriott Theatre, and it’s truly a marvel! The theater is ‘in the round,’ with a stage in the center and the audience seated on all sides, which creates a wonderfully intimate and immersive experience. There’s also a live orchestra right in the theater, adding incredible depth to every scene and musical number. The actors and production team deliver fantastic performances every time—this is definitely one of the coolest places to see a show in the area. Some of my favorite productions here have been Million Dollar Quartet, Footloose, and The Buddy Holly Story. Highly recommend for anyone who loves live theater!

Not a bad seat in the house. The current show Joesph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat is very entertaining. Actors, singers and dancers are so very talented. Always thoroughly enjoyable!

Beautiful little "in the round" theater. Took our girls to see The Magic School Bus and they loved it. My wife and I saw some other upcoming shows we will definitely be going to!

This review applies to the recent Neil Diamond show. I have been an ardent Neil Diamond fan since the 1960's. The headliner did a wonderful job, but - He talked in between every song which ruins the tempo of the performance. In some cases, too much information. He then started talking about his family and grandparents. I'm sure there were wonderful people, but WHO CARES. There were two back-up singers. One was the writer and producer of the show. Back-up singers are to be heard, not seen. Unfortunately, she thought she was the second coming of Judy Garland. She was jumping, swinging her arms and comically thrashing around. Needless to say, an unnecessary distraction. She also was part of the duet for "You don't send send me flowers anymore". It was a joke. The production of the number was pathetic. She hit some notes that could cause one to go deaf or hope to do so.
Finally, there were 2-3 songs that never should have been performed.

This is a great theater with not a bad seat in the house.
The creative team and cast are so good that you really don't miss the huge stage like other venues.
What I like is the intimate setting where you can really see every expression of each actor.

We are season subscribers to the Lincolnshire Marriott because the shows are always exceptional and the venue provides a great experience. As subscribers, tickets are mailed out with the dates locked in. Well we forgot to add the dates to our calendar and missed our first show. I called the box office a week after our scheduled date and asked if we could buy tickets for another date in the run because we still wanted to go to the show. The Marriott box office treated our mistake as a regular date change on our tickets so only a $10 fee. I thought this was very accommodating of them. Financially there is little impact to them, they have their money, but they certainly could have said you need to buy new tickets at regular price. It is very nice to be treated so well. Deserves five stars for their customer service.

Musicals at Lincolnshire are always extraordinary, but the recent production of The Music Man has hit an all-time high. This is easily the best production of Music Man I've ever seen. I've been to see it twice and both times I've been amazed by the way the director and cast and designers have clearly understood the show in all of it's too often missed nuances. A wonderful show that made me cry multiple times. "I always think there's a band, kid."

Titanic the Musical on Friday 5/9/25 was beyond a treat! The Marriott theater has Valet service with plenty of free parking not far from the door. The seating was very roomy and comfortable.

The stage was 360 degrees so no matter where you sat, you could see everything. Titanic the musical play was very interesting as they focused on the history of the ship, the daily timings of events and the realistic appearances of the class levels. We didn’t know what to expect and found that it wasn’t anything to do with the Rose & Jack storyline. It did provide us with a unique and different perspective.

The singing, costumes and theatrics were very well done. All the players could sing amazingly! The orchestra was very good and the original score of music was both creative and moving.

I’d definitely love to see other plays here at the Marriott Theater in the future.

I'm a large, tall guy. Most of the seating does not fit me, but enough does to make my time enjoyable. I have not seen a "bad" show in the theatre, and most are phenomenal! It has always been a wonderful time to enjoy the music, acting, and the ambiance. The theatre gives a feeling of intimacy from wherever one sits. I highly recommend it!

Great venue for shows. Had such a blast watching "Always something there". The performers were amazing and really lead us back to the 80's.

Theatre in the round. All seats have a good view. All of the productions I've seen are choreographed well....the performers play to different parts of the theatre. You're never just looking at someone's back for the entire show. If you're tall, you probably don't want an aisle seat as the performers use the aisle to enter and exit the theatre, so, no sticking your leg out in to the aisle. Highly recommend this theatre.
