Perfect in every way. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is located on the quiet end of the river very close to all the “action” but quiet when you want to sleep, no traffic noise. The beds are super comfortable, slept very well. Breakfast (extra) is good with great variety, strong coffee and made to order omelettes. The best is the staff, so accommodating and we were treated like royalty. This will now be my go to hotel in Savannah.

We have visited Savannah many times and always choose to stay at the Riverfront Marriott. The hotel is beautiful, the accommodations are spacious and comfortable, and the location is perfect. Our recent visit provided the added bonus of meeting Sandra, the evening hostess in the Concierge Lounge. Each night we were greeted by her pleasant smile, as she showed us genuine hospitality. No matter how busy she was, she always took the time to hear about our day’s adventures, and even remembered what wine we liked! It was like visiting the home of an old friend. Sandra is a true asset to this hotel and to the entire Marriott organization. The brick and mortar may be inviting, but it’s the people that keep you coming back.

Erica Wade was a great host! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The food was delicious. No issues upon check in or checking out. Staff was very attentive to any need we had. Nice clean rooms with beautiful views. Enjoyable to watch the boats go by.

Good location within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. Right on the waterfront with a nice patio area to sit and enjoy the passing boats.
Room was good size but a little dated. Bed was comfortable.
Hotel restaurant and bar downstairs made for a convenient option for lunch.

The staff are wonderful at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront. A special thank you goes to Anthony. He is the reason I return time and again with his excellent customer service. I also want to recognize Sandra in the Conceirge lounge for excellent service. The hotel is very nice and the staff works to ensure you have everything you need and enjoy your stay. This is my favorite Marriott hotel in Savannah and I have been coming to Savannah for over 30 years.

Too expensive. We were charged for EVERYTHING. We had a simple breakfast and our bill was $50. Coffee was $5. WiFi was $12.95 a day. Parking was $40 a day. We were charged $2.95 per day for the TV. If you have an electric vehicle you were charged $40 to charge it. The location was great but we would never stay there again. And the beds were too soft.

The hotel location is great, however the value for the money is not. This is an older hotel and certainly does not feel like 4 stars. The carpet in our room was stained and the shelf above it was damaged. As others have mentioned, you can hear everything, the walls are thin but there are also very large gaps around the door letting the hallway light and sound in. I can say that the staff was very friendly.

I travel a lot so take this with a grain of salt. The air conditioning isn't very efficient. It takes almost 12 hours plus to cool the room down enough. The rooms that are adjacent to each other with balconies have no insulation. You can essentially hear their conversations in full. Thank goodness for my ear buds and white noise app. The boardwalk is very pretty and nice to walk along. I have yet to find a hotel room that is cleaned properly. Other people's body hair (yes I g rated it) and stained pillow cases should never be in a "cleaned" room. The room service was efficient and I do recommend the turkey BLT on sourdough.
