I initially called the Marriott side of the property before booking, clearly explaining that I'd be traveling with two small, well-behaved dogs (non-service animals) and would require a late checkout (4 pm) due to working overnight. I was assured both requests were no problem, booked my stay online, and even called back to confirm these notes had been added, with instructions that I'd just need to sign a waiver for the dogs upon arrival.

However, upon checking in, the front desk attendant seemed confused and fetched a manager who informed me that there were no notes regarding my stay, and pets were not permitted on the Marriott side. After confirming that my original conversation was indeed with the Marriott side, they acknowledged the confusion was odd. Fortunately, rooms were available on the Residence Inn side, which accommodates dogs. The manager said he would book a room over there for me and cancel my stay at the Marriott, with a complete refund.

Unfortunately, on checkout day, I discovered I had been invoiced and charged for both the canceled Marriott stay and the Residence Inn stay. Thankfully, Kim at the Marriott front desk was exceptionally helpful in promptly ensuring my card was refunded.

Aside from this mix-up and the inconvenience of double-charging, my actual stay at the Residence Inn was excellent—5 stars for cleanliness, comfort, breakfast, location, and especially the friendly staff (Samuel, Seth, and Kim on the Marriott side were particularly great). The lobby at the Marriott side looked nice as well, can't speak to the rooms.

Had it not been for the unnecessary hassle and wasted time due to the initial miscommunication and billing error, my stay would've been perfect.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The accommodations were excellent—clean, spacious rooms with a comfortable atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants nearby for dining options. The bar and M Lounge were great additions, adding to the overall experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel!

We stayed here to take our son to visit Ohio State. We always enjoy having access to the lounge and the best part of this experience was having Angela and Keke here to help us. They were so kind, helpful and extremely professional. Despite it being the weekend and how busy it is, they always had a smile on their face and were so lovely to be around. I don't think that they hear "thank you" enough. I appreciate ALL they do and want them to get the recognition that they so deserve! Thank you Angela and Keke!!!!

Amazing place to stay. The five star rating is based on how I felt about the service and staff. Very clean. Great restaurant. The only complaint I have is that the eggs in the M club lounge were not cooked well on Thursday and was more like egg soup; I struggled to eat them and they did not taste good. However, I was super pleased on Friday morning as the eggs were cooked well that day. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel.

This is an excellent hotel. I travel to Columbus 1-2 times per month for work, and this is by far the best option in the area/price range. My room was very clean (and seemed well-maintained), and the service was incredibly friendly throughout my stay. I had to make a last-minute change to the length of my reservation, and the person at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. Would highly recommend!

The hotel itself is beautiful; the room is spacious and very comfortable. It's right in front of a bus stop (route#1). Very convenient to take public transport. There is a small but friendly Middle Eastern grocery shop right next door where you can get bread, milk, veg, and even hot food.

Every interaction I had with staff was extraordinarily positive. In this day and age, I couldn't help but be surprised by how polite and pleasant everyone was. I was especially impressed by Jerri at the front desk--such a wonderful person!

We stayed at the Marriott for 8 days; the service in the M3 Lounge was excellent. Angela was especially attentive, helpful and courteous at all times. We appreciated the food/meals provided as well. We looked forward to her delightful welcome each day of our stay.
