This is an older hotel that has been renovated, but needs more work. There are no 3-prog grounded outlets in the bedrooms, and no outlets accessible near the head of the bed. So if you want to plug in your cellphone charger, it has to be across the room. And most travel extension cords are 3-prong grounded plugs nowadays, so you need an adapter.||||Also, the extra HDMI ports on the TV's are inaccessible. So no way to plug in your computer, Firestick, Chromecast, game device, etc. And the TV's aren't "smart" - no apps like Netflix, etc.||||Beds are VERY soft. If you like soft beds, great. If you have back issues, not so great.||||We were looking for a "suite" type hotel with kitchenette. Most "name" brands (Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn, etc.) have a breakfast included. Not only do they not have breakfast, their "Market" is a few slices of cheese and a few drinks. No frozen snacks, no cookies, chips. And nothing to eat except coffee and a grocery store within walking distance.||||Mill Valley and Corte Madera aren't real visitor-friendly in terms of accommodations...

This is our third time at Marin Suites for a spring family reunion. We love this place. Staff, rooms, grounds, location, all perfect! It's really nice having the kitchens for our always hungry kids, and unwinding in the pool at the end of a day exploring SF is wonderful. Thanks, Cindy and Ivan:)

Surprised at the size of the room. Nicely appointed. Full kitchen. Need to visit in Mill Valley and San Rafael so location was good. Strip mall next door had a coffee roaster and other convenient businesses. Free parking. Property is a little old but maintained fairly well. Staff is friendly.

We had a great time at this hotel! The rooms are a little dated and a bit musty smelling, but we had excellent service from housekeeping and the front desk staff were so hopeful and friendly. The 2 bedroom suite provided us with lots of space for a week together. The surrounding area was very safe and beautiful. We loved walking to Town Centre Mall and the convenience of a nearby grocery store. Corte Madera was away from the bustle of downtown SF but a quick drive to main tourist sights and to a few beaches! The pool was heated, which was an added bonus. We would certainly stay again.

While you have plenty of space / it’s like a small apartments….

The beds are uncomfortable spring mattresses that sag in the middle. You can feel the springs against your body when you lay on them. The pull out couch is no better. i had to sleep in a separate bed than my partner because of this.

I measured the beds with a tape measure, they are doubles NOT queen beds.

There were feces on the side of the toilet bowl upon arrival.

The shower did not drain.
My lady asked for a tech to come fix it. instead of bringing tools the first time. He came a “checked it out” then came back later. After raising his hand to her face when trying to communicate the problem. Cutting her off while she was asking why he came to the room to fix something without tools.

I called the front desk to inform them of this and informed them of the language barrier & asked that they not set their staff up to fail. Recommended having at least one bilingual staff on hand at any given point during the day.

The rooms/ hotel is right next to an interstate/ freeway and the sound proofing is non existent.

The pool had caution tape around it.

I booked for $120+ a night and all of a sudden the price is $98 a night!!!!!

My family has stayed here for years, our experience over the many years has always been great. We travel to SF all the time for doctors appointments. We have spent thousands here. Unfortunately our recent stay was terrible, the tub flooded when my mom took a shower. After a long day of travel and appointments at the hospital we expected a good night's stay and for my mom to have to shower in a couple inches of water is not okay. We were offered another room and unfortunately the same thing happened to my brother. I talked to the front desk at checkout they told me to contact the manager, the manager apologize for what happened and offered $75 dollar credit for my next stay. I don't think i will ever stay here again, so why would I want a credit. I deserve a refund for this, it's not okay at all!!! I also asked the manager to speak with someone higher up and he said that is not possible. I hope the owner sees this and I get something for our terrible experience. Also the last time we stayed there was blood on the bathroom towels, we didn't say anything about that because we always have a good stay but for that to happen, and then this. Very disappointing.

Have been here both as a family and as a couple, was wonderful each time. Staff is friendly and accommodating, the suites are spacious and comfortable, also love the convenience of having a full kitchen and barbecue at your disposal. The hot tub, sauna and saltwater pool are some of our favorite amenities.

The hotel is not the newest or the fanciest, but it is comfortable, clean, and convenient. The front office manager, Juan Ferrer, was helpful and unfailingly polite. He went out of his way to be kind to me and to all the other people I saw him interacting with.
