The staff was friendly and courteous. Nice folks. The location is just off 101,easy on and off the freeway. The room we had was clean but the cleaning product odors were overwhelming for us. Our room was close to the office where the lighting was extremely brighter than we could sleep with comfortably. The curtains didn't keep out the light to our tastes.

Where can I start on my review of this fine establishment. The family that owns this lodge are all very hard working people. From parents to children, they are all doing their best to ensure their customers get the best experience while away from home. We are seniors and have traveled to many places, and find our room to be the cleanest we have ever experienced. The bed is so comfortable and warm too. The continental breakfast is perfect, and the serving area is just as clean !!! Thank you Marin Lodge family.

We have stayed here many times! It is owned and run by a wonderful family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Free parking. Nice breakfast. Great variety of restaurants nearby , a Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s! We discovered it when we got tired of the prices and craziness of staying in San Francisco! (Parking fee per night is ridiculous there, too) But we love the Bay Area and figured out how to beat the system! We stay here and then take the Larkspur Ferry, 10 minutes away, to San Francisco! Parking is $2 and RT Seniors is $14, Adults $28, and children $14. On your 35 minute ride you pass San Quentin, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, and a great view of San Francisco! ||I would give Marin Lodge 10 stars fi I could! M

Super cute gem of a motel. Nice family run and beautiful property. Nice room decor and very clean! Loved the convenience of the parking lot and location! Super safe. Comfortable quiet and clean what else could you ask for? I stayed for four nights.

It’s a quiet, attractive motel with a friendly, helpful owner. She gave me a welcome rate cut for spending 5 nights. Rooms nicely furnished. I’ll stay there again when I’m in the San Rafael area. Good access from it to San Francisco and Point Reyes National Seashore.

Easy to find and super convenient location. Impressed with the quiet, clean spacious rooms. Although not super cheep, I think the value is good.

Very clean and comfortable bed. Nothing extravagant, but great for the price. Very nice people in the office. Convenient to the highway and very quick little drive to the downtown area. Not a resort, but a very good place for an overnight stay.

seconds ago i got off the phone with a man detailing a hate crime. i asked a simple question about how to reach the manager. he proceeded to try and yell over me. i am suing this property for racism, abuse, discrimination, and a hate crime.
