My experience with the store and staff have been overall good. As a member of the lgbtq community and a local I did find a few situations to be less than ideal.

I will begin by saying the staff have ALWAYS been nothing but friendly. They take the time to ask if you need help... Not just to the woman 🧐, looking at you box stores. If you need something they don't have, they will order it; given you have the time for it to be shipped. This is a humble local store, it is not a lumber yard, nor is it a box store. It is intended to meet the needs of the homeowner or handyman "person". It is meant to be a tool to keep the house and vehicle in working order. If you are planning a renovation, it will serve you well to pre-order with them so you can support local!

Now, the painful part I've found difficult to swallow as of late. I've heard way too many hateful, downright nasty, individuals ranting at the counter about the lgbtq community and the "state of the country" as they perceive it.. No one should have to listen to themselves being slandered while they shop by locals. I expect, and borderline demand that businesses keep things safe for all individuals. I was saddened when the workers at the counter allowed it to happen more than once. I will say they didn't join in. With that being said, I know they can do better here. I hope they do better. I truly want to keep supporting local.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I’ve been going here for about 40 years including back when a woman was treated with condescension and derision at any other hardware or parts store. Mansfield Supply has ALWAYS been completely respectful of women!! They have everything and they help with everything. They are knowledgeable and friendly. I can’t recommend them more! 10/5 stars!

I highly recommend Mansfield Supply for storm windows. We had some unique and long-discontinued storm window panes that needed replacements. Arnie worked with us to come up with a cost-effective solution that works perfectly, and got the work done quickly as well.

10/10 very friendly and it's a very lovely place to go! Came here because of a missing bolt on my car and they let me see if it's the right size before buying! Everyone that works there is extra friendly and just overall a wonderful person

Knowledge friendly staffers to help you find anything from LED light bulbs to bird food. Will order what you need! Convenient location.
Watch out when leaving. Lots of cars coming and going to uconn.
Located on heavily traveled Rt195.
Highly recommend.
I know everyone needs a day off, but closing on Sundays is hard for weekend warriors!

I've used Mansfield Supply for business and personal needs number of times during past three years, which was consistently positive shopping experience with highly helpful stuff and good stock of tools and supplies. Today I came one minute after closing time needing a tool to keep working through the weekend, and despite of lights being already off and all the associates on their way home I was greeted, helped with finding tools, and left with everything needed in just five minutes. Almost 20 years that I've been going to Mansfield Supply--and they've never let me down. Oh, they don't always have some weird thing I want, but they gladly point me to where I can find it, offer to order it, or help me make it. It's the best hardware store I've been to, and I've been to a lot. Great people, great service and products!
